glb8686
I see in many posts in here that people require the person to have insurance. What insurance is this BASC?

jimblowscash
I'm with the BASC , several of the golf clubs and farms I shoot on would only entertain me shooting on production of a valid membership card. There are several shooters insurance schemes and associations offering different covers, each with there own features and benefits however BASC seems to the the most recognised and accepted, perhaps as its been around the longest? pegasus bridge
I joined sacs too after reading that article just for the insurance cover. I know basc will do a better job lobbying on behalf of shooting, but sacs only ones to offer the legal expenses cover. I'm surprised basc haven't cottoned onto this. It would be interesting to see the split of sacs members in england and wales!

It would be interesting to see the split of sacs members in england and wales! Sacs too. I have asked before why Basc don't offer the legal representation as opposed to advice and not seen a reply yet! I presume being a member driven organisation Basc members don't want or need legal representation?
