Pinkella
This is not a gender bashing thread, in my experiences men and women seem to have a phobia about indicating! or maybe the car they drive does not have indicators or maybe their driving instructor never taught them how to use indicators or maybe they are just lazy and irresponsible! or is it something else? neil3728
I think everyone should have to take a retest every 10 years or so. It would make the road a lot safer.

That would mean less male drivers on the road then lol *runs and hides*
neil3728
A **** driver is a **** driver regardless of gender. The ones who really get on my nerves are the people who drive at 40 no matter what the limit is on the road. See they almost everyday, 40 in a 60 zone then when it drop to 30 for a village they don't slow at all.
Penelope
Yes, I also believe that unlike most phobias, this one is highly contagious. You only have to drive around Harlow, the town that I live in to see the high infection rates. Scully
I often find that the more expensive the vehicle, the less likelihood the indicators will work.
TIGHTCHOKE
I often find that the more expensive the vehicle, the less likelihood the indicators will work. Indeed, I think there is a formula for working that sort of thing out!
huffhuff
Nothing more I hate than following behind somebody that doesn't indicate. Do I indicate? Rarely. But it does bug me, and i'm sure I do bug people.
Albert 888
They could be driving a discovery and they dont self cancel,so they never use them. If you go fast enough no one should be behind yoy so no need to use.
old rooster
I often find that the more expensive the vehicle, the less likelihood the indicators will work. Also the less likely it is to be fitted with a hands free phone system. Both could be partly due to the arrogance factor?
goodo123
Who really needs them? People drive where and how they want to. What really pees me off is when people cut junctions. Your inching towards the line to turn right (with indicator on) they look blatantly at you as their turning right and seem to just aim for your bumper. I could understand it if it was a lorry etc with a huge turning circle but something like a ka or a micra?
rascal72
I believe the lack of use could be due to ppl not liking the look(colour) of the orange flashing thing on the outside of thier posh car or indeed the silly green arrow on the dashboard that tells you which way your wanting to go when you alread know this !!! See,i will only get in a car with a woman driver when I have had enough alcohol to cloud my judgement Geordie Edited August 9, 2013 by geordieh

dead eye alan
Drove to Gatwick and back this morning the thing that got me was how many people were on the phone texting most in German cars too! Mady my blood boil especially the lady in a merk with a kids on board label in the back.

See they almost everyday, 40 in a 60 zone then when it drop to 30 for a village they don't slow at athi This is one of my pet peeves more so than indicators. They are blooming dangerous on standard limit roads as people get fed up and try to pass them in risky places. Them they become dangerous in 30 zones by speeding. Has anyone else noticed the majority of the drivers doing this seem to wear flat cap and be of shall we say advanced years?
leeds chimp
reminds me of lamping on night... just come off a field and had loads of mud on the tyres so was not going fast....had some muppet on my bumper...ready to turn into the next field....started to indicate....and slowed down.....as i turned the bloke behind had to slam on all ..... Fisheruk
Reason I like driving in Paris is they don't drive by lanes, but spaces. If there is a space you put your car in it. Simples.
