"There is trouble with the trees, for the maples want more sunlight and the oaks ignore their pleas" Good one!

Followed by an awesome guitar piece. Only Messrs Lee, Lifeson and Peart could write a song about trees! Probably Mr Peart as he is very ethereal.

"You were lying there with nothing on but a goofy little grin and a platinum blond"

Artist is called Brandy Clark, heard this on a radio the other day travelling back home, now can't get it out of my head

The song was called stripes, well worth a look.

There once was a King, who called for the Spring, for his world was still covered with snow

And this for mid song lyrics :

Ivy on the walls and Ravens wheeling round above me, as I made my way towards the last remaining headstone, I fell to my knees, read the lines beneath the leaves.......

Two of my faves

This bed is on fire with passionate love, the neighbors complain about the noises above , but she only comes when she's on top

The distant echo of Faraway voices boarding faraway trains

Excellent choices .

The very best of James is perhaps my most played Cd and I love the Jam too.

Fenboy - you like your classics.

Thanks , I like my music and can listen to most types .

Hey little girl is your daddy home?

Did he go away and leave you all alone?

Classic track from The Boss.... I once sang it, a capella, in a pub full of people, to a barmaid who said she also liked Springsteen.... Didn't get me laid though  LOL.
