TaxiDriver Posted January 1, 2014 Report Share Posted January 1, 2014 I'm not normally a fan of anything to do with men dressed as women ie Dame Edna or Lilly Savage etc, but having seen a few episodes of Mrs Browns Boys on the telly I've d had a late Christmas present of the 7disc box set, Series 1-3 and have been in absolute hysterics for the past few days, I think Brendan OCarrol (I think thats his name/spelling?) is bloomin genius along with the rest of the cast, Does anyone else enjoy the series? I think the way its done is brilliant, live audience, different sets that they move between, the fact that some of it is improvised/ad libbed when things go wrong (like the camera crew crashing through the wall) and the cast corpsing and struggling to keep it together at times. mike-b Posted January 1, 2014 Report Share Posted January 1, 2014 im not a huge fan i did enjoy parts of the christmas one on telly but in the whole its just an irish person swearing from what i can gather! that said ive only ever seen parts of them never the whole show? maybe its one of the shows you need to watch from the first episode to get a grasp of the cast?
