Danny Fireblade
I went out the other evening as I'm going on my holipops for a week so won't be able to get much in.Was pretty quiet really, maybe the mild weather meant they were all out for a BBQ somewhere?Hope you all enjoy.http://youtu.be/p_CWKzVqPRwDanny

FarmerSim
Quiet? !? my thoughts exactly. - if that is quiet, "busy" must be quite something! Good shooting - best blinking end to the little darlings
Foxwit
Great shooting. I'm in south wilts too and had a great night ratting last night as well in a local dairy farm. there must be something in the air!
Danny Fireblade
I never usually go for more than about 2 hours and the average is about 20-30 picked up, best is over 50 picked up. It was quiet as where I normally see some there wasn't any and the numbers were not what they usually were? I'll be going again in a few days so will hope the numbers are back up, then again seeing as the weather is improving that may make a difference. Where abouts are you foxwit? Foxwit
I'm in Warminster Danny - Generally been a shocking year for all quarry and the rats have not been about in numbers (probably doing too good a job ) Left the ratting for a few weeks as I got my FAC through so was out with the new kit a fair bit. But went out last night with the AA S410 and nite site and they seemed to be everywhere not sure if its because the farmer has turned the cows back out to pasture now or because its been left a few weeks. I wish I had time to get out more but it is a toss up sometimes between the shotty for pigeon, rimmy for rabbits or air rifle for rats. Bloody weather don't help either. Warminster is ok, I go diving in Vobster and got my van in westbury so go through there a bit. Thanks everyone for the kind comments.
