naddan28
I am in canterbury and we are still snowing with 4inches on the ground! I am ment to be going into uni for a cwk presentation but my uni is up a 40% gradient hill, which apparently not one car has managed to get up! So now waiting for uni to be closed, extra days practice and some snowballing!
njc110381
You'll be home unless your area is a mit mad buddy. My missus is a teacher trainee and all the schools apart from a couple are closed in Gloucestershire today. Don't even attempt it even if they do open it, just shout health and safety and get that rifle out

njc110381
Ours is about 2-3" too, nothing major. Still enough to stop the average numpty british driver from making it around the nearest bend though, because for some reason people don't know how to drive in it! I'm staying in bed for now! You don't get any of that stuff down here (far too tropical here)! It's just very grey skys and rain here!

pin
I'm watching London slowly grind to a halt before my eyes, no way am I bothering to go in today. Londoners can't deal with snow, it seems to make them stop thinking I remember 3' of snow when I was a lad and people still trying to get into work, but people were used to it, down here it's chaos. Watched some silly tart in a disco plough into 3 parked cars, get out of it and look all surprised she didn't have any traction on a road with packed snow when she was doing 30 down a hill with road tyres on, would have been fine if she had been using her brain, but another car came out of a junction! (would you credit it) and she came unstuck.

Conygree
2-3'' in Oxfordshire. Rob. You must be in the 'posh end' we have +4" at the top end, even the main roads are rutted but good fun in my wifes Suzuki jeep. Gave my lad a 'pressy' this morning - a snowball under his duvet = all hell boke loose. Using snow from window sills we had an indoor snowball fight in boxers with added abuse ,wakes up up quickly. Got out for some skiing down the local hill at 7:15, now in work working out how to bunk off early.
henry d
I just returned from taking Mrs.Њ to work and had a bus driver keep too close to my tail so I flashed my brake lights to get him to back off, which he did. Then as we pass the local primary school(20mph limit) he starts to come up behind me fast again, and tailgates me until I turn off then sounds his horn at me The terminus is just 1/2 mile away so I turns around and follow him and confront him.The upshot is he refuses to give me his name/number and closes the door as I`m standing there so it hits me So he has now to face his boss after they check the CCTV tapes that the cab had. Nice cuppa and I can calm down !

Axe
2 inches north of the South Downs and about 1 Inch south. Hasnt really caused many problems bar the obvious extra accidents. Its amazing how people still continue to drive as if it were dry.
Cranfield
There is no snow on Romney Marsh, but it has rained quite hard and is still raining. There is snow on the Downs above the Marsh, but that is disappearing quickly with the rain. I laughed out loud at most of the daily newspapers printing two pages of survival tips for,"the worse snowfalls in years", that we are currently suffering. Its a bit like the usual rubbish the local radio trots out, "stay at home unless your journey is really necessary".
SNAKEBITE
5:30 coming to work was a nightmare! It was as slippery as hell. Luckily not much traffic but I would hate to have been out at rush hour! Turning to rain now, I'll give it until lunch until it has all gone.
