HDAV
Oddest I have seems is sparkling white trainers (muddy strawbaler) and designer track suit. Guy was not someone I would choose to shoot with, the head to toe camo brigade well.... But like the tweed suit brigade, but if you are there to hone your skills wear what you wear in the field. Nothing worse than being uncomfortable, cold, wet. So dress for the conditions.... About coats etc with stuff on the shoulder you shoot from
Dougy
You want to go just after Christmas lol its really funny, see who's had a load of tweed for Christmas. Dressed up to the nines like there shooting a driven day at Balmoral with royalties. Just ware smart and comfortable clothing as you would for outdoors. clayman
The answer is simple Abide by the CPSA dress code - on their web site www.cpsa.co.uk/userfiles/file/CPSA_Booklet_5.pdf This is what they expect any-one attending a higher level competition to be wearing, it has plenty of latitude in what is accetable, but outlines the "excesses" that would not be acceptable. While at just a club shoot, this code does not apply as a condition of entry - if you are kitted to meet these standards, you cannot be criticised
keg
that's alright then. I'd hate for my recent leg wax and tanning sessions to have been for nothing i Hope it was Barbour reproofing wax....

HuskyRich
How come belts are a no-no for clay? Be a lot easier reloading than having to fumble around in a vest pocket
HDAV
There are pouches especially for clay shooting belt for 100 sporting is going to be a bandolier !!! No need to fumble in skeet vest you just drop the whole box in (card board and all) and you get niceley lined up rows of carts!

Old farrier
How come belts are a no-no for clay? Be a lot easier reloading than having to fumble around in a vest pocket Hi Go to the local ground have a cup of tea look at what everyone is wearing pick something that blends in That you will feel comfortable in As said areas dress differently You will load easier from your pocket than a belt Hope you enjoy the sport All the best Of
Liamey
Oh the days of wearing a shell suit and the snobby shooting millionaires wife's knickers underneath! As others have said, anything that is comfortable and casual smart yet more importantly functional. Merry Christmas!
