TiffL
Hi All, Please complete my final (short) survey regarding the colour coding of shotgun cartridges as to whether it's worthwhile being reintroduced. Click the link: http://goo.gl/forms/EiI2LIQMLB Much appreciated. Tiff Edited December 24, 2014 by TiffL

rbrowning2
I think shooting has got a lot bigger issue to concern it than the colour of a plastic case, why not use your time and effort (and probably are money) to save lead in ammunition. If you don't know the gauge of your cartridges and gun you have at any one time then may be your the wrong person to be in charge of a gun. TIGHTCHOKE
Good afternoon Tiffany, survey completed as politely requested.
Kes
I suggest anything to attempt to improve safety is well worth the effort. I have completed one and appreciate the twin benefits of doing so. Good luck with your studies.
OddJob
No. What makes you think you can come on here, without any introduction, and demand that your rather pointless survey is completed? Kids today aye? Read the survey and he does. Cut him some slack he's just a student wanting some research done, nothing nefarious.

If you don't know the gauge of your cartridges and gun you have at any one time then may be your the wrong person to be in charge of a gun. Sadly burst barrels and lost hands/fingers from wayward 20 gauge carts finding their way into 12 gauge barrels still happens. Manufacturers used to colour code them voluntarily, but some now don't. No guarantees if someone is seriously distracted, but a bright yellow 20 gauge case makes this marginally less likely. It is probably a zero or low cost option, so why not if it prevents a few disfigurements? Form completed, good luck with your studies. The Essex Hunter
1 in 12 men % 8 are colour blind so the colour coding has a flaw along side the twits who mix there rounds in the first place... However I did fill it in with those details attached. TEH

Kids today aye? I assume this is a joke, at least I fervently hope so. If it isn't then grow up you curmudgeonly swine, it's Christmas. Survey completed, as mentioned above, as politely requested. ayano3
Anyone making the effort to gain a degree is worth taking the time out to help them reach their goal. Far better that sat on their fat back side sponging off us that work. Good luck with you dissertation Tiffany, I know how much work goes into doing one as my daughter has sat hours on end doing hers. Good luck for the future.

In my job I get hundreds of these surveys each year, very few have any value and are an easy way for students to claim that they have researched a population. Merry Christmas from an evil bounder. Er you'renot at work... If you don't want to respond don't. The survey is pointless but it is an academic exercise !!! A learning exercise its not a company trying to make a profit, at least it isnt a survey monkey job. An undergrad dissertation isn't easy, getting the public to respond is hard work. I would suggest that Tiffany take the survey in paper form to some local clay grounds. You will get much better cross section of the shooting community, even better to take them to a few game shoots as this is where the issue is more likely to occur. Shooters picking up a coat or bag last used on a grouse moor early in the season with a 20 then taking a 12 out for some high pheasants in January and getting a wrong cart in the heat of a fast drive! Marki
Some of you need to take the internet less seriously, it's not RL, you understand that don't you? In the time that you defended someone that couldn't even be bothered to introduce themselves and has a total of two posts, one of which was a correction I've molested your turkey, stole your presents and pee'd in your Cava. But that didn't really happen did it? I completed it straight away but I will take bets on when 'tiffl' next posts on PW. I reckon they won't even come back to say thanks. BTW, pointing out the fact that it is christmas and 'they might be female? Just LOL!
