kyska
I had a 2009 bamboo steamer, moved house and didn't appreciate the power of gas hobs, bless her, I burnt her rims out, 'twas a sad day. I now have my bitch of a le creuset griddle pan, never failed to make a good steak, and even used it to grill veg on, she's not a lightweight, but she's 'smokin'. ack-ack
Used to have a vintage tool called a kitchimagic. It was essentially a wide slotted metal spatula that was the nuts for making gravy. I miss it. I guess one day i was just beating my sauce too hard and the end got damaged. It was binned. Paddy Galore!
I have some half decent knives, and a couple of good sharpening stones as the wife can dull the edge in 2 seconds flat somehow. so really in essence I have 2 good sharpening stones, spyderco ceramic jobbies, one is 800 grit, the other is 10000 which puts a very shiny edge on which is good enough to shave with. figgy
The artisan mixer ornament I bought my wife few years ago, she promised that with one of these expensive bits of ironmongery she would cook and bake all manner of culinary delights don't you you dare use that and dirty it I've just polished it. Bloody women. Got to be a using nice knife after a good sharpen.
