I think it may have been a one dog BASC scurry !

TIGHTCHOKE
We any closer to finding out a date for this event? I think all we have so far is somewhere in the middle of 2015!

shoot and be safe
can some one start the ball rolling on when a date could be set or where I'm sure inquiries have been made by the mods already. I only started this thread as there was a lot of discussions on a different one of mine and I didn't want the thread to go off topic. The fundraising ideas are being planned as we speak with one from the Crown Shoot going active in the next day or so. Be patient. But mods hurry up Edited February 5, 2015 by shoot and be safe
Old farrier
Hmmmm Sounds like a bit of northern collusion going on here 😀😃 Trouble finding a ground with two sets of rules I would think 😗 All the best Of
Teal
I am still waiting confirmation of available dates. I thought I had posted already, apologies if not, but this year (all being well) we will be heading back to ORSTON. Who put on a great day for us three years ago, including a pool shoot outside the clubhouse for the early arrivals. It is the usual time frame - May/June - I am just waiting on getting the dates. Westley
As they cover most clay disciplines, anyone fancy a 100 bird all rounder, 25 of each, skeet, DTL, ABT Compak. Just a thought ?

That would be an interesting idea as long as the ground made a donation to the charity.
100milesaway
There would be a much smaller take up for "all round" ,and it is for charity so it must be kept a popular draw on numbers.I wouldn't personally be keen on driving around trip of 300 miles to do a round of skeet, ABT or DTL in truth I more than likely wouldn't go t't bottom of our street. from Auntie. Mentalmac
The set up last year was good. I'm planning on attending albeit May/June looking bad in my diary (in Holland, Turkey, Denmark and Singapore from late April to June on business trips) but will happily postpone a flight by a day or so to do the charity shoot again :-)
Ttfjlc
Wouldn't fancy my chances if skeet is involved, by the time I've said pull and raised the gun I've wondered where the clay has gone!

Catamong
Orston is a fine ground, well run by competent people, albeit a little too far North for most Southern shooters.... It's worth the long trek up through the frozen wastelands, even though they do talk with funny accents up there... Hope to see plenty of old friends and PW members on the day..? Cat. I always get very nervous about going North of Watford Gap, I keep checking to see if my wallet is still in my pocket, it's just force of habit in the land of the "get something for nothing" Scratchcard mentality....
