D0DGY
Great looking pup Spuddy, out of interest where did you get him from? Website / friend/ pet shop? Interested in getting a Chesapeake pup for myself at some point but a quick bit of research they seem a little hard to come by.
iamspuddy
This is Eddie at 5 weeks ...I got him from Penrose Chesapeake's. I would suggest you do some research , I got him for wildfowling, but after taking some advice from people who actually have one, rather than Chinese whispers.. its going to be a roller coaster ride but I bought my ticket with both eyes wide open and cant wait. Paul T
A true wildfowling dog - all the best worth him. I've always admired the breed, but I don't do enough to warrant oWning one myself. Still like them though...
Brixsmaid
Been there, done it (20 years ago!), got the T Shirt - absolutely cracking dogs - but very different (in a good way) - just don't make the mistake of thinking its a brown Labrador - they eat Labradors for breakfast

iamspuddy
he's 4 months now and 18.3 kg I took this yesterday while out excuse the dodgy phone camera work https://www.dropbox.com/s/eee9twux1olpjc2/2015-05-30%2015.42.39.mov?dl=0 we've a long way to go but no regrets
Asa Bear
He's a cracking looking dog. Mine is now 5 years old and as good as gold although he still believes his way is the best way and often shows me regardless of what I tell him. Make sure he gets plenty of positive interaction with other dogs. I let mine down here and he is sadly not dog friendly. Good luck Eddie. iamspuddy
he is now 15months 39kg Things are starting to click , he's a big strong boy and loves the water . If we have a few good months over the summer then hopefully i can use him next season but no rush . Not really had a downside yet ,apart from the adult body with a puppy brain !!!!!!! i need to work on delivery and keep practising the direction stuff but overall well happy at choosing a chessie. TONY R
I would love one, is he ok with the springer you hear so much garbage tallked about them i dont know what to believe. But if i had listened to other people i would have never had pointers. A mate had a chespeke he was a rough customer but worked fantastic , but if anything started trouble he always finnished it. Whats your boy Eddie like regarding tempement looks placid enough on the vids.
