shootgun
Went out today in the morning for a stalk, again after roebucks. Saw a couple of young ones at first light in the morning but was not i was looking for, i left them alone and went back to the car for a cup of coffee and a change of strategy... Decided to have a look in a part of the wood where i never stalked before, and in just 5 minutes bumped into 4 does browsing on the edge of a clearing. Made my way up to the clearing and as soon as i started glassing around, i saw movement on the other side, at about 120 yards in front... Quick scan again, rifle on the sticks, pulled the trigger and the buck dropped on the spot... Result!
