fabpeter
A petition to restore rimfire pistols to Section 1 FAC. Click the link, it's a doddle!! Last time one of these came out, the shooting community's response was pretty poor so....................... https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/105947

deadeye18
Will sign this again same as all the times before!its a pity that shooters dont stand their ground together and fight others rather than keep to their own little niches of the sport. Its an even bigger shame that some shooters are anti pistol/anti slr etc.Everyone should stand up for all the different disciplines of the sport .we all pull a trigger, were all the same and will go down the same if the seperations continue. RDP
You need the coordination of a big group such as Countryside Alliance or BASC to get enough people onboard.
deadeye18
36 thousand PW members all signing would be a good start too.
fabpeter
It would be good if everybody who reads this and signs up to it makes sure that their friends are aware of it and get them to support it. Shooters and non-shooters alike! Shooting sports are very diverse and some take the view that certain legislation does'nt affect them, so they are not interested. Well, to those people I would say............... your branch of shooting may need some support one day! We need 100,000 signatures to get a reading in the House of Commons, how difficult can that be? spanj
You need the coordination of a big group such as Countryside Alliance or BASC to get enough people onboard. none of them did much to prevent the ban and they have done even less since to repeal it ! This will go the same way as the last 100 petitions. You're unfortunately wasting your time signing these things. it would have taken you less effort to sign it Edited August 19, 2015 by spanj
fabpeter
Dont suppose that target pistol shooting features large in the interests of Countryside Alliance or BASC! Waste of time? Well maybe.............. but we can't moan about it if we are not prepared to invest the VERY small effort it takes to sign up.
