This is a compilation of a few recent pinkfoot shooting outings. Cameo appearances from Farma Geddon, Big Mat and Fenboy. I hope some find it entertaining. motty
a good watch, shot some good birds there. What make/brand is the como net looks like it would not soak the water up ? The net is just some cheap green/brown scrim that i cable tied to some canes. Would be slightly better with a bit of yellowy colour mixed in. It would have been funny, had the geese not been so easy. At least Mat eased the pain by missing as well. Cracking video with some high birds, what shot size/loads were you using? As above, usually 46gm hw13, 3.8mm.

motty
Always enjoy watching your goose shooting videos How high was the last goose at 5.15? I'm not sure how high, but some of them were up there a bit. I wish I didn't make such a meal of a few lower ones. High shooting is always a contentious issue, but I'm starting to get the hang of shooting tallish birds using the correct tools. That last bird on the film was shot with the 10 and 2oz of heavy. fenboy
thanks what does the hw13 relate to? Heavy Weight shot 13 is the density so its heavier than lead so packs a punch at extended ranges compared to other non toxic alternatives , its very good stuff but also fairly expensive.
