WinchesterDave
Driving back from the local canal with my dog, I saw something unusual sat upon some saplings that haven't long been planted. It made me stop, as I usually see crows etc perched on them but it definately wasn't a crow haha! I zoomed in and I saw this amazing creature sat there. Ended up watching it for around 25 minutes hunting and diving. I was made up Edited March 13, 2016 by WinchesterDave

WinchesterDave
Thank you all for your kind comments. I regularly see a barn owl sat on the edge of the field of an evening, and the other night I was driving down the lane and this particular owl flew literally right out in front of my car. It was great just to watch and appreciate it. Atb, Dave

chesterse
Fantastic pictures, we sometimes get them visiting our fen. Saw one about 6 weeks ago, it was on the dyke bank about 50 yards in front of me whilst walking the dogs. As I walked towards it it kept lifting and moving along a bit then settling again. It eventually disappeared over a hedge into the next field.

WinchesterDave
Great set of images again Dave. Will you be attending the Camera Show @ the NEC starting 19th March. GG Thank you GG:) Unfortunately I have no plans to attend the show this year no. I've received promotional emails about it, but with uni work recently I've not really thought about it. Maybe next year 👍 Are you thinking of going? Regards, Dave Thank you all for viewing and commenting Edited March 15, 2016 by WinchesterDave
GREENGRASS
Hi Dave Yes I will be attending, I normally take the Step Dad and my eldest daughter. I will treat you to a ticket next year and you can crash out at my house, so note it in your diary for 2017. It's a good day to view all the latest gear and listen to the Pro's. Oh and you will have to bring your camera. GG
