Patrol
Hythe and Sandgate beach they're showing pretty good there, last Saturday, fished the up and down tide for eight hours Joeys first off , the better ones came on high tide, reasonable numbers, got enough for the freezer with ease ( earned some brownie points there with SWMBO she loves mackerel) Oddly nothing on the bait rods, tried Rag, lug, peeler and dear old squidly, not a take, not even crab damage. My mate fished Deal pier on Saturday for two good sized doggies I've just got a larger chill box with the inbuilt fridge runs on 12v or 240 v. Took it on the beach with a car battery, absolutely perfect, got the fish home really chilled down and in perfect nick Patrol

Salop Matt
Over the weekend I happen to see video footage of a certain top shot off here catching Mackerel with just a hook on a line.......no weights, feathers or bate, just bare line and a hook He may aswell have just whistled for them to jump out of the water into his bag
