Just watching the Labour Party conference highlights on the news.

Oh my word, what planet are these people on.

And what's worse there are people clapping them.

I think highlights is the wrong way to describe them!

Interesting to see mention of Derek Hatton attempting to come back in to the fold.

Tony Bliar and David milliband could share the job of Minister for peace, disarmament and capitulation.

All those new members must be really please that they joined, to ensure Jeremy takes his rightful place, as Prime Minister in permanent waiting. :lol:

Best joke this year!

Interesting to see Jeremy Corbyn has been re-elected to the Labour leadership with an increased share of the vote.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-37461219

All the £3 dossers voted for him, plus the nasty little mob on the Hard Left.....God help the Labour Party!

'King Arthur' Scargill isn't in the House of Lords and never will be. I don't know of any other miner's union leaders who were knighted for that matter.

Joe Gormley?

Lord Gormly ..former miners leader before Scargill

and a good bloke!

For gods sake give the guy a chance it simple for all of you conservative supporters to criticize from what I see of it your chosen one Theresa May is putting her foot in it all of the time every time one of here people says something she has a go at them I would not be surprised if some of them get peed off with her and quit. :good: :good: :good:

and Corbyn gets elected, where will you shoot? Tasmania? First on his agenda, kill field sports, then ban ALL guns (except the ones held by his supporters) that,s what his pals in other Socialist (Communist) countries did!

Who would you have prefferred as a candidate?

Mickey Mouse! You would get more sense out of him! Otherwise, John Mann.

So if as you seem to think all of the parties are no good we just as well go back to olden times and leave everything to the Queen and we will all be serfs.

Could not be worse than being under a Corbyn government! At least the Royals shoot!

I do not have a problem with it I voted for Corbyn and I am happy to admit it.

So you voted for the death of fieldsports, and a ban on ALL guns (except those held by the police, who will come under a Hard Left government)? Because that is the stance of Momentum, who currently run the Labour Party!

This is from their website;

WHAT DOES MOMENTUM WANT TO DO?

● Organise in every town, city and village to secure the election of a progressive left Labour Party at every level, and to create a mass movement for real transformative change to:

o Redistribute wealth and power from the few to the many;

o Put people and planet before profit and narrow corporate interests;

o End discrimination, advantage and privilege based on class;

o Target growth not austerity, invest to create tomorrow’s jobs and reverse privatisation of railways, the energy sector and public services.

o Provide protection at work and strong collective bargaining to stamp out workplace injustice.

o Ensure decent homes for all in public and private sectors through a big housebuilding programme and rent controls.

o Support workers and their trade unions defending the interests of their members, families and communities.

o End discrimination based on race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or age.

● Transform Labour into a more open, member-led party, with socialist policies and the collective will to implement them in government.

● Bring together individuals and groups in our workplaces and communities to campaign and organise on the issues that matter to us.

Young idealistic voters, the types at uni who are world famous demographic got low voter turn out. Uni types have always been liberal thinking. Benefits lots and the die hard reds will always vote labour, the stinking rich will always vote conservatives.

It's the working middle class who swing the vote, who by the time they hit 30s are fed up of working full time, after spending years and thousands at uni, to see people say at home doing **** all with a nicer car and a bigger television!

We need a proper working mans party, who makes the super rich pay their fare share, cuts taxes on middle income working families who are doing over time just to try to educate their kids in decent schools and saving for their retirement.

The older generation after working all their life are ****** off when they're expected to pay for their own care and sell their homes that they worked to leave to their kids, when the bloke in the same home was a **** artist all their life didn't save a penny and gets it all for free!

It's all very complicated!

Excellent post!

It will be interesting to see how the 4 million who voted UKIP at the last General Election, vote in 2020......they have the power to vote tactically, and get rid of every Hard Left Labour MP,

Yes, I think that will be extremely interesting and hopefully they will get a bit more for their vote than they did last time.

Some good posts on here summing up with whats going wrong with society and the oressure the middle class and working people are under.

Corbyn and hos mate are coming across as very passive agressive. Smiling assassin springs to mind. Yesterdays performance just reinforced that view.

Personally I wouldn't trust him. His political principles didn't stand up in the 70's. Tried that and don't want to go back there.

It's like waching Citizen Smith without the laughs.

The present smiles and passive aggression by Corbyn and his supporters is nothing more than an attempt to hide their hard left agenda by using a media public relations charm offensive in order to appear politically acceptable to the electorate...............when they start getting impatient for their communist utopia, and when they realise Corbyn can't deliver it, they will very soon revert to type, the blood letting will begin and we will witness the snarling, rabid hard left militants that they really are!

That sounds like its straight out of the Communist manifesto of the 60s. They love these little words like "redistribute,"

Same old same old,

There was a great slot on Ian Dale LBC this afternoon when a female Labour Party member called out the party brass for destroying labour, as is her democratic right.

No fists, no shouting just a female life long Labour Party member reading those in charge their fortunes.

Next the publicity manager is cancelling her pass, hotel booking and has had her suspended from the Labour Party.

It's so Stalinistic it's funny. Well it's not funny it's dangerous and it's deluded.... and which is why you won't catch me or anyone else who is sane voting for them any time soon.
