walt1980
Been hearing a lot of people saying they really rate them, especially the game loads. Anybody point me in the direction of the importer?
dodeer
It's someone up North i think. Good cartridges, average priced, mostly plastic wad and hardly seen for sale ( in southern England anyway)
tomaddy525
Awesome cartridges and readily available up 'ere in the north, all lead I ever shoot is either victory starlight 32g 6 or victory whites 35g 5 at taller pheasants
walt1980
Heard loads of good stuff, got one guy local who sells a bit of clay load stuff but I'm after bring a load down. If anyone can point me in the right direction??
Hamster
Cypriot maker widely available down South in the 80's and 90's but for reasons that baffle me you can't get them here any more ! I shot their 32g Victory 550 clay loads which was replaced with a 28g version when CPSA rules changed, would shoot them again in an absolute heartbeat. They also used to do a budget line called Leader which was also excellent. Their Sonic (so called 1600 fps) was utterly unshootable even in a semi automatic, their Challenger was also a tad thumpy if memory serves. A very good friend of mine used to rave about their 24g Compak loads way back when nobody used them and I have no reason to doubt him as he was very knowledgeable. TIGHTCHOKE
I know Whittlesey Gun Shop used to stock Victory shells. Last time I bought some would have been about 5 Years ago. Prior to that I used to use the 550 and the 480s for clays when living in Norfolk.
dodeer
The Rocket was a nice load to use. Also their Europa fibre and the clear cases fibre clay load
motty
I think you can still buy victory cartridges from Whittlesey. Fine, if you don't mind having your pants pulled down.
HDAV
I bought some victory off a memember on here years ago, wicked muzzle flash at dusk!

figgy
The Victory Chellenger 2 in 24g are very good the 28g kick like a mule and have a hell of a sound wave coming back off anything close by that friends of mine comented on when I shot them. Feel the thump in your chest like the base thump off a big speaker.

figgy
I wouldn't bother, unless they have been changed in the years since I shot them. I would not buy more in 28g. Plenty of nice to shoot cartridges out there.
HDAV
It was the 24g that I had flames out the barrel
Gordon R
Many years ago, I shot a few thousand yellow skeet shells and the red case 8s - both brilliant. I got some last year - the green case Sporters. I wasn't impressed at all.

Mr Potter
I love them 28g challengers, I shot my best ever round with them but cant get hold of them around the NWI think Blackpool Gun Club stock Challengers and that's not too far from Chorley. Give them a call (number on Blackpool Sporting Clays website) to check. If they don't have them anymore ring Richard Blacker (number from post #11) and he will advise on your nearest stockist. HW95J
Got some to try recently, (Starlight, Challenger and Sporter) haven't shot any yet but all have high quality plastic hull and neat crimp. Just a pain sourcing them, especially game loads in FW. Edited January 10, 2017 by HW95J
