norfolk dumpling
Was in our local Mitsi/Subaru dealership on other business and noticed BASC disc signs. Asked sales guy what was the deal and told 14% off a Outlander (varying discount by models) but 10% all scoobies. I like the Outlander so this is £4,500 reduction. Salesman said only 3% for them. Seems like a good deal for us but has anyone tried this elsewhere? I'm not bothered about a mud plugger these days but need 4wd occasionally so any softroader would be considered at the right price. SpringDon
Sounds good but I would look into what deal you could get from another dealer. The one person I know that was going to use the basc discount got it cheaper from Internet dealer.

BrowningDJC
Got 15% off an l200, significant saving. On the basc scheme all dealers offer the same as they all get the vehicles through a company called Tyson cooper so I'm told. itchy trigger
used it when I bought my shogun, discount is on the base price, good though, you 'deal' with the garage for the extras, tow bar, reversing sensors, service package ect guy I shoot with was gutted when I told him how much I saved, 5 months old and still worth what I paid, going off dealers forecourt prices

Breastman
There are member discounts on loads of different manufacturers, I seem to remember some as much as 25% last time I looked! Definitely worth a look if you're buying new
Kalahari
I would think always worth a look, if you can do better fine, but at least it is a deal which might save you substantial amounts. David.
seph234
I used the Basc discount for the wifes new car last may. we got around 6K off a new vitara, well worth it.
dazb1967
I saved around 5.5K on a new toyota hilux through BASC, I contacted loads of dealers all over the country and got prices with and without BASC, the BASC was definitely cheaper
Harry Callahan
I asked this question 6-8months ago... As far as I can see the discount is on the list price. Nobody pays list price anyway!
seph234
Your correct but the BASC discount still beat any other offer i could get.

Got £25-30k to play with and have always fancied a Subaru but might do something stupid and look for a Defender.
