GREENGRASS
A murmuration of starlings is an amazing sight - a swooping mass of thousands of birds whirling in the sky above your head.Footage from Penkridge. Old Boggy
That Sir, is one hell of a brilliant video, well done and thanks for posting. In my opinion such a murmuration is one of nature`s wonders and it always amazes me how they perform such perfect co-ordination and tight direction changes. Brilliant GG OB

kennett
We have had these around Newmarket for a few weeks now, I think they are gathering up to head back out into the fens to roost. I love watching them and like Jdog said, I'm always surprised by the tiny amount of people on the road that are taking any notice of it right over their head! 7daysinaweek
Saw a similar murmaration this evening on the way back from Minsterley ranges in Shrewsbury. Have not seen one for 30 or forty years. What a wonderful sight it was too! atb 7diaw
