Whitebridges
No clear cased "Clear Pigeon" in the shops around here at the moment but hey ho....... These are fine and dandy for pigeon. 70mm case just in case your auto is fussy. Guess what they come in a clear case,

Pigeon Shredder.
Been using the 28g 7.5's Lyalvale's on Clays and they are a fine punchy cartridge in the O/U, put some in the SX3 last week on the Pigeons and they dropped them with no trouble at all and at £180/1000 you can't go wrong. I do have some Clear Pigeon 30's to use up but don't think l will purchase anymore at £247/1000.

lakeside1000
I bought 1000 clear pigeon black cased 30 gm 6's on Thursday, £248, would like to change , well my wife would like me to change, she thinks a £4 box of 7.5 cheapo's would do as well but we know better, don't tell her I said that., I have tried Lyalvale super comp , great at close quarters but out past 40 yards pattern was unpredictable and lost a lot of damaged birds, I used to use kent velocity, but since they were taken over by gamebore they seem to have lost the edge as far as I am concerned. Marshman got me onto clear pigeon about 18 months ago and I will not use anything else (for now), I regularly take down birds at 55 to 60 yards with kill shots , not runners. Thursday I took a bird low level left to right , my favourite shot, and going down wind , clear head shot kill, through a 1/4 choke from my Beretta 391A Urika 2, when I paced it from the hide it was 62 yards out, with hits like these the value of the cartridge is clear, more kills per box is better value than blasting away with a poor kill rate and pricking birds that go off to suffer and die later ,just to save a few quid using lesser quality cartridges. If I could afford to I would use Black Gold or something similar but money is always the controlling factor, its just where you personally want to draw the line between value and results. Whitebridges
These babies were £48 a slab. If can manage to put the load in the right place it should be done. Edited July 15, 2017 by Whitebridges

Sounds like more luck than anything. A 30gm 6 shot cartridge is not going to have a great pattern through 1/4 choke at 60+ yards.
