walt1980
Had a bit of luck and decided to treat myself to a new game gun! But not sure what to get, budget is around £3500 ish might go a bit higher for the right gun. Would like a new gun Over and under 30" multi choke Nice engraved and decent wood. Not a big fan of Berettas, never seem to get on with them. Browning and Miroku are fine. Just wondered about any others worth looking out for??? There again, I'm biased - really impressed with mine - Chapuis.

walt1980
I'm liking the look of a Chapuis! C35 or C40 looks a bit nicer! Definitely the sort of thing I'd go for, any idea on a rough price?? Just found a dealer and some prices, and they're at the game fair on Sunday! https://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/topic/360144-browning-425-grade-5-12-gauge/Saw this one, looks lovely and was tempted but after something a little different. I've got a basic model 425 as a spare in the cabinet now, nice guns! 👍🏻 Edited July 26, 2017 by walt1980
Gunman
Why do you think you need a 302" multi choke for a game gun? I would suggest a 28" late English side by side .
oldypigeonpopper
hello, a nice 525 game gun
walt1980
Not sure I could manage a 302" gun???? 30" multi choke is pretty much down to resale value, don't fancy a side by side. Simple as that.

What you may not find is that there are 4 standard stock dimension options. If you can't get one to fit from that lot, then Horton's, I think it is, fixed price fitting seems a good plan. Can't say more as mine has all the options that you probably don't want, other than it's a delight.

figgy
How many new B25 Browning have you seen for £3.500.00 I've not seen one. Your limiting your choice by only wanting new, you could get far more for your money buying a good used example. Red-dot
I have a B25 A1 on sale here for £1,200. They are available.
figgy
Red dot the op wants a multichoked new gun. Even a used B25 with good wood and engraving is still more than 3.5k I looked at a few in dealers around the 8 to 10k mark. Value for money a used grade six miroku game gun takes some beating, chromed barrels and multichoked available. I prefer a nice SxS. Some nice Rizzini high grade game guns that handle well. Red-dot
I listed my B25 B2g 28" sporter for £4,250 in top condition and got shot down in flames for it being over priced even though new inferior B2g's are £15,000 now. Some wires getting crossed?
R1nut
The older ones are out there for that kind of money The first older double trigger b25 a1 I came across on guntrader is 595!!! Edited July 27, 2017 by R1nut

Bungle The Bear
If you don't fancy a SxS - then its a no brainer !! MK 60 Miroku, without a doubt the best value game gun on the market, perfect balance, extremely pointable, great wood, as good as guns three times the price All served up in the Miroku cardboard box
Red-dot
Once you have shot a B25 any Jap Browning feels very machine made and angular in the grip. Great guns Mirokus but they are not as nice as the older B25's pre 1985.
