Which game gun to buy?

Had a bit of luck and decided to treat myself to a new game gun!

But not sure what to get, budget is around £3500 ish might go a bit higher for the right gun.

Would like a new gun

Over and under

30" multi choke

Nice engraved and decent wood.

Not a big fan of Berettas, never seem to get on with them.

Browning and Miroku are fine.

Just wondered about any others worth looking out for???

Think outside the usual box. There again, I'm biased - really impressed with mine - Chapuis.

I'm liking the look of a Chapuis!

C35 or C40 looks a bit nicer! Definitely the sort of thing I'd go for, any idea on a rough price??

Just found a dealer and some prices, and they're at the game fair on Sunday!

Saw this one, looks lovely and was tempted but after something a little different. I've got a basic model 425 as a spare in the cabinet now, nice guns! 👍🏻 Edited by walt1980

At the very least, they're worth considering. Check out the range of non cost options - very comprehesive. What you may not find is that there are 4 standard stock dimension options. If you can't get one to fit from that lot, then Horton's, I think it is, fixed price fitting seems a good plan. Can't say more as mine has all the options that you probably don't want, other than it's a delight.

How many new B25 Browning have you seen for £3.500.00 I've not seen one.

Your limiting your choice by only wanting new, you could get far more for your money buying a good used example.

Red dot the op wants a multichoked new gun. Even a used B25 with good wood and engraving is still more than 3.5k I looked at a few in dealers around the 8 to 10k mark.

Value for money a used grade six miroku game gun takes some beating, chromed barrels and multichoked available.

I prefer a nice SxS. Some nice Rizzini high grade game guns that handle well.

If you don't fancy a SxS - then its a no brainer !! MK 60 Miroku, without a doubt the best value game gun on the market, perfect balance, extremely pointable, great wood, as good as guns three times the price

All served up in the Miroku cardboard box :yes:

They come cased if you buy a pair 😂😂😂

Although personally think the fixed choke version Ballance better

For a new gun in the x3k bracket very good value

Browning heritage a possibility although maybe over budget

Anyway enjoy your hunt and gun when you get it

All the best
