So their 6 is a uk 5 or even 5.5 For example. A lead 3 is 3.3mm.I don't know the steel size. I don't think it will make a lot of difference to the duck. And equates to English lead shot sizing thus :- US Size T steel = .200 inches which equates to English lead size AAA shot (5.2mm) US Size 1 steel = .160 inches which equates to English lead size BB shot (4.1mm) US Size 3 steel = .140 inches which equates to English lead size 1 shot (3.6mm) US Size 4 steel = .130 inches which equates to English lead size 3 shot (3.3mm) US Size 5 steel = .120 inches which equates to English lead size 4 shot (3.1mm) US Size 6 steel = .110 inches which equates to English lead size 5 shot (2.8mm) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Because you can get the specific details from their respective web-sites, perhaps "con" is not quite the right word - misleading might be more appropriate. However, if one simply went into the local RFD for a fair few 36g of No 5s which when used didn't seem to pattern/kill as expected and then it was discovered that you didn't get what you asked for and the quantity remaining are of no use to you, then it's no great leap to go from annoyed to "conned".
