samboy
Hi gang. My pals lawn and flower border has had about a dozen or more holes burrowed into it. Each hole is about 3 to 4" wide. Not rabbits or moles. Could it be rats ?. All thoughts welcome. Thanks all.

Between the buzzards, kites, owls, my dogs and filling the holes with sharp sand, we seem to have got rid of them.
scotslad
Really depend on the exact size of holes. At 2-3" ur really getting on for Rat sized holes but if smaller ur down to mice/voles etc. To give u an easy idea of hole sizes. A 4" hole is really pretty big rabbit sized hole or ur normal sewerage drainage pipe. Even 3" is a decent sized hole, ur average fence post/guttering down pipe. Ur sink waste pipe is often about 11/2"ish which is almost bbig enough for a rat Edited July 20, 2018 by scotslad
