Perazzishot
A few pictures from a fantastic week we had in Cordoba last week. Total for 7 guns was just under 24000 My personal total was 5025 shots for 4074 doves with 3 1000+ days. The personal record for the trip by one gun was 2300. For anyone who has this on their bucket list you have to do it.
oowee
Looks like a great trip. 👍 What puts me off is the cost, and jet lag. With Africa in the same time zone, a lot cheaper and thousands of very hard rock doves it has so far been my choice. I am sure one day I will be there. A chap who comes to Africa with us has been and he says that he chose each day the type of shots that he wanted to take rather than shoot at everything. So one day was like driven partridge another crossing birds and so on.

Was very much the same mate, 1st flight how quick to get to a 1000, last day was what is the highest/longest I can shoot. 3 hours behind is not that bad, I'm home 3 days and almost sorted. RSA the Rock Pigeons are out of this world and in my opinion better than driven grouse, I'm going back next year. Will end up alternating between RSA and Argentina I reckon as both are great trips! Scully
I really do fancy this, and wasn't aware it could be done in SA....I have relatives there!
Perazzishot
Scully Rock pigeons in RSA are awesome we were down at Bloufontain, can easily manage 6-800 shots a day on them but the kill ratio is no-where near the same!

Dougy
Excuse my ignorance, but am i correct in thinking that they are served with a plate of chips ? Hence the pile of chips in the centre of the photo.

SxS
Looks like a fabulous trip. Out of curiosity, did you take your own gun(s) or have them supplied by the agent/estate?
Dave at kelton
Definitely on my bucket list when funds allow. Was going to do it for my 60th but decided it was selfish and went to New Zealand with the wife instead. Now I may have to think about rock doves as well. Perazzishot
Rock Pigeons in RSA. This was a days bag picked go just over 1500. For 3 of us. Bearing in mind the locals are picking them up too as we are shooting. Again it is a superb trip.

Perazzishot
the estates supply you with 5 shot Beretta Semi auto's, the bird boys are good and feed them as you are firing or you can double gun with them. Not worth the hassle trying to get your guns over there! Did take my own to RSA which was very straight forward!

Biggthepool05
What price are you talking with flights cartridges etc?
oowee
Africa for us is £175 a day all in. Flights £520 with SA. Gun hire £20 a day. Carts are 320 / 1000 for pigeon and 420 /1000 for ducks and geese. We do ten days at £1750 + £520 +£200 + about £1000 carts = @ £3500 We go for the start of May which is the, end of the pigeons and the start of ducks and geese. If you went earlier in the year then more carts. Take your own gun and save £200.
Perazzishot
Fly with BA and they charge you about £200 handling fee for your gun. The prices above are about spot on!
Biggthepool05
£3500 all in that sound real good for ten days shooting 😁how many cartridges would you need?
Perazzishot
that's for 3000 cartridges, you could easily treble that if you so wished but at £320 a 1000. Your choice, I did 5000 in 4 days in SA.
