samboy
Hi gang. My ex wifes paper driving license runs out on Sept 3rd so she's just had her photo took for the new type. She's had the paper one since she passed her test in about 1980. Anyone else got the paper type ?. I thought they all finished years ago. Mr. Merkel
Just exchanged mine for the new photo jobby because of a change of address, when moving I found my old red licence with a start date of Mar 1969 and no expiry or end date so I wonder how I would get on if I ever produced that to a constable. wyn
I've got one of the "new" pink paper ones. Changed from green paper with a house move in 85.

strimmer_13
Funny you should say that, I used my firearms licence as hertz wouldnt accept my shotgun licence to rent a car. And I worked for them at the time but still had to go through the guff. Still got my paper licence somewhere as I didn't destroy it like they request when you go to photo card types. four-wheel-drive
I changed my licence about 10 years ago simply to have a small photo identity card to be honest I can never understand why we do not all have identity cards like they have in most countries. DoolinDalton
Pink one for me also. I get some strange looks / comments when I produce it for ID for certain things! There again, I get some strange looks / comments when I produce other things!

General election 2010. Personally I was always in favour, but I accept it may feel like a police state.
