matone
Looking at the current offerings ,I think we could assume none! Manufacturers need to do some lighter payloads ! Edited August 31, 2020 by matone

matone
Exactly 24-26g is what I would like . I`ve used 24g#5 steel in 20b and theyre ok for decoying and partridges in a 6lb Beretta.
ShootingEgg
@Conor O'Gorman what do you say? One slab of cartridges for the syndicate I run? Be able to test on pheasant drives and duck flights. A real field test this season?

oscarsdad
Both I am my father have old English sbs and would like to find alternative loads - if there are any carts available to test - we can also distribute for the lads in wildfowling club and on our syndicate to test too if there’s a slab available? figgy
So when and where in the north east will you be to allow us to try them? Be nice to have some for our Wildfowling syndicate to try in the environment they're intended for.
ShootingEgg
Oh dear what have I started... Diubt they have enough to start giving everyone a slab though..
figgy
They must have a boatload of them to put days on for members to go along and try them. I don't think the odd slab to some syndicates that are basic members is out of the way. It will be a tie in with Eley to get the message out. B725
If that's the case I will have a slab and let the guns I shoot with try them, not holding my breath that will happen.

What would priorities one club over another ? .. Equally the shoot could buy a couple of slabs and put that in their management plan as part of their conservation work .... Unless I've misinterpreted from this thread. I put an idea forward and have spoken with basc. I admit I am getting one slab. And then will also be going to just cartridges. But as @Terry2016 says, they can't just give everyone free cartridges. I out an idea forward and got lucky, I didn't donit so basc then had to give everyone and their dog a slab. As yet im still waiting on getting a slab. So not a done deal yet..
ShootingEgg
@Conor O'Gorman just a quick note to say cartridges have been delivered by Julia from yiur southweat team. Our first shoot is a few weeks away but will be making sure the guns get to use the cartridges throughout the season on game wildfowl and pests. And then hopefully we will be able to put a report together for you. Cheers SE
