elgreco
Well this time last I was in the RVI Newcastle on a ventilator oblivious as to what was going on. I was out for 2 weeks but thanks to the fantastic team there I made it through. It has been quite a year, it made me reevaluate what was important, so retired from a job I’d grown to hate and now just do things I want to do rather than things I don’t want to. Hopefully we are all through the worst of this terrible pandemic and we can start getting back to some sort of normality once more. cheers Tom

Dave at kelton
Glad you have recovered so well. I think this pandemic will make a lot of people reevaluate their lives, and if not it should. Certainly my children now realise it’s the people in your life and not the things that are important. I certainly value my time more and whilst not fully retired yet have fixed an end date in the foreseeable future so I can spend more time doing what I want working with my dogs, wildfowling and fishing. Great post well done!
