Walker570 Posted February 4, 2023 Report Share Posted February 4, 2023 Was warned early that shoot days will probably be higher next season but seeing that prices where held very reasonable this year that is to be expected. Still bird flu lurking about with an article in the Telegraph about it spreading to animals and maybe humans. Hope it is all hogwash media hype as was the fact that the UK was to be BLANKETED in snow this last two weeks and we here in the Midlands have had some fantastic weather. He predicts a cost of £60 plus per bird shot by the time of the 2023-2024 season and that, he says, a bird less than £50 will seem cheap. Arley Posted May 22, 2023 Report Share Posted May 22, 2023 Some deals to be had, near me lots of shoots are charging +£60 per bird this season with the reason being the price of the birds have increased and associated rearing costs, I will be reducing the amount of days and also the size of the bags for the days I buy for this coming season.
