Oh well accidents happen.  New build house by the looks.

So they accidentally hunted a fox, then accidentally trespassed in a private garden. Or could it just be yet another example of one of the many hunts flouting the law and having no respect for anyone else or their property?

Whats a newbuild got to do with anything?

Having watched the video clip I suppose I must be a silent anti as I never could see the justification in fox hunting in this way just for fun. If Mr fox is a problem then there are plenty of folk on here who undertake vermin control and one well placed shot is surely the more humane way of saying goodbye Mr Fox.

And the crazy thing; I bet far more foxes die now as a result of shooting, since the upsurge in popularity and fun of lamping than were ever killed by all the hunts combined, when legal.

Hello, thanks just read this 👍 , is that the same Hunt where the hounds were killed on a railway line ??

Good morning ..... The hounds that were killed on the railway lines were from the Dunston Harriers , they were not hunting at the time , merely being exercised :hmm:, so I believe a different pack of hounds .:good:

I followed the hunt for years, a car follower and I did believe at the time it was one of the ways of keeping fox numbers done , the fit foxes would run but the injured could be caught etc, but after the ban or so called, I didn't follow any more as like said shooting is a very quick way to dispatch a fox , everybody to thier own, but I have to ASK what has a NEW BUILD got to do with it, and before anyone says NO I do not live in one.

Well a few years ago it would not have been an issue, because that house, and those people,  wouldn’t have been there.

Doesn't matter about your disdain for building on the countryside. I share it. The fact is the hunt pursued a fox onto private property and killed it there. Not on. If one of us squeaked a fox into our (possibly anti) neighbours garden and shot it we would quite rightly expect the full retribution of the law. These idiots deserve as such.

Just a quick update , Three men had been arrested for the above Fox death on the private property  , the charges are , hunting a wild mammal with dogs , criminal damage and having a dog dangerously out of control , two were in the 20s and one man in the 60s .

Well thats decent news MM.

I wonder if the property owner will press separate charges against the hunt ?

On the local news when it happened, it was stated by the hunt they had been in touch with the lady and offered there apologies , they then interviewed the lady and she had heard nothing and said the blood and parts of the Fox were left on the patio and her husband had to clean it all up before the kids came home from school , this might be where the charge of criminal damage might had come from , she was also very concerned what would had happened if her two young children had been outside at the time,
