Moles ?.

Hi gang.

              My mate has a problem with moles again. He has the usual mole hills but he don't know what these little mounds are.

              They have only just broke the surface so are not a hill as such. He does not think it is squirrels  as the culprits are burrowing.

               Any idea's chaps ?.

I know a lad that charges £45 per mole plus travelling and he gets it 

He gets loads of work round here I couldn’t believe it when he told me how much he charges.

Have a probe around, particularly where those paving stones are and find the main run and set a trap there.

Shallow feed run. Stamp them down to save the grass. Find the deep runs and trap them. Hate moles. Double figures last year but only a handful this year.

I have put some traps in a farmer's garden today, where I have caught moles before. But this time there are no mole hills as such, but just a small amount of earth thrown up, this is where a new mole has found the empty run, claimed it for himself and is just tidying up the run.

Charlie T is correct, there would be a run along those slabs edge.

If you enlarge the photo, you can see a hole by the slabs, the mole might have moved out.

if you click on my avatar andf click on about me ...you will see the depth the runs are at ...and also to the left of the pic a steel rod that is used as a probe ...to find the deep runs....which you will excavate and set your trap..............
