Dougy
Not had liver and onion for ages so treated myself to a very easy dinner tonight, so simple in fact all i had to do was ding the peas and mash. Mashed potato was left over from Sunday and my neighbour made the liver and onions as a deal when i gave her a bit of my sausage😉 and the liver. RCB56
It's got to be lambs liver and I have it with mash, white cabbage and plenty of gravy that's had the liver and onions cooked in it.
DUNKS
When we visit our daughter in Canada we call at an Irving big stop. A long distant truckers favourite place to eat. Liver and onions with mash is a favourite dish," I have a childs portion and only just get through it". The cheap huge meals are to attract the truckers who top up their fuel tanks on the big rigs. Lovely grub.
Dave at kelton
Fantastic. I love it and add streaky bacon to the mix when frying the liver. Sadly I have excess iron so this rarely goes on the menu these days
Dougy
I would have put some streaky bacon in, but as my neighbour offered to do the cooking i felt it a tad cheeky to tell her how to cook it. 😉
JohnfromUK
I love it too, but like others above - it's on the 'prohibited list' as it is very high in purines (a cause of gout).

Robden
Liver, bacon and onions with mash and one veg. I like it with any liver apart from chicken livers. Supermarket liver seems to be tiny little strips, so get mine from the butchers. Thanks for helping me decide on what to have tonight. yates
Had liver and onions with leftover mash and mushy peas last night. Like you it was the first time I've had it in years. I wouldn't give my neighbour my sausage though😝
