JDog
June can be an iffy month in the garden. It can be cold and wet. Roses in particular can suffer badly so I thought I had better take a few photos whilst they were in their prime.
7daysinaweek
What beauties they are. Only last week, I had to cut a rose back extremly hard as it was covered in that black spot disease. We miss the fragrant blooms. Hopefully it will come back.

Dougy
I just love the yellow of this one. It's a David Austin, not sure of the name. It's the wife's side of the garden.

Pushkin
Thanks for all the lovely shots guys, never been into roses but my father used to grow them and there were often other growers round to see how he was getting such good displays, Me? I'm a veg grower but not having much luck this year so far, everything is very slow to get established. Sweet corn is doing very well and plants are looking strong and healthy, near ready for transplanting

I thought I would post a few more before the weather knocks any more down, the third one was a standard name unknown, I managed to save the stem and turn it into a reasonable stick. 'Gertrude Jekyll', one of my favourites. These survived last night's storm. Edited June 16 by JDog
marsh man
Some excellent photos of Roses , the only Roses I like are in a round tin that we used to have at Christmas , no only joking , these are the only two that didn't get hammered with the heavy rain we had most of last week , yesterday afternoon was one of the worst storms we have had for ages ,the rain was like a sheet of water with many minor roads flooded, these two Roses came from Peter Beale's at Attleborough , I haven't a clue what they are called but the White one is Pink in the bud and then end up White . Miserableolgit
Mine have got knocked about so much by the seemingly endless rain and wind, I have also not had much chance to deadhead either..
