Mungler
M25! M25? Jeeez this Country is in trouble. The foremost transportation route sustains an accident early Sunday morning and they shut it for 5 hours. The chaos that follows from the M25 being shut even on a Sunday is a sight to behold. I am with Clarkson, sweep up, wash the blood off and get it open again. Anyhoos, nice set up - stand 1 did me like a kipper - very nice. Good shoot, nice bunch of chaps and the only clay ground that had some good crumpet out - not the big burly stuff you normally see round most clay grounds
Bigweed
Anyhoos, nice set up - stand 1 did me like a kipper - very nice. Bagsy
Nicely done chaps Listening to the news last night the QE2 bridge was shut due to the winds and there was only one tunnel in each direction causing major delays. It ain't gonna get any better :o
throdgrain
I went to Horne where I put in a equally bad score, but saw the signs for M25 problems and so went up the A217
jasper3
well .... Ummm Had my 1st real day on the clays today, not the easy shots that i have been use too in the farmers field ..someone added a few trees and they came from all directions we had our 1st visit to Ashcombe in devon..beautiful site and really friendly , ...so there was no need for those..(am i going to look a fool) thoughts mrs jasper came along to push the buttons ..... her 1st visit to a clay ground.... :o she soon got the hang of making me wait a second longer my dreaded shots was going to be the bouncing rabbit and the high birds... it endded with me hitting most of the bouncing rabbits and missing the easy one's :( we both really enjoyed it and will be doing it again next week ....mrs jasper wants a go next time..so I might be looking for a 20g as she is only a half pint Ile keep my score a secret as it was awfull but what a great couple of hours.... jasp
MC
I don't know how I got on today, I shot with Markio at St Osyth but the scorers were blind. I know I only dropped 9 giving 41/50 but the score card said differently.
Markio
I don't know how I got on today, I shot with Markio at St Osyth but the scorers were blind. I know I only dropped 9 giving 41/50 but the score card said differently. And i just realised i out-did myself by one as i actually got 39 (not 38, bad memory). And Martin, i remember the stand you got done on, i didn't score your card at that moment but i remember when i did score some cards i looked back at yours and was surprised that it said 5 on that stand. MC
Is that a quote from your best seller, page 15, excuse No 103... Cat. As you would know Cat, you know that book off by heart don't you? Did you come last in your squad again this weekend? or have you been out missing woodies? Catamong
Well, it gets a bit rich when even the straw bale numpties have to come up with such excuses, on most score it yourself shoots you just keep having extra targets until you straight it. :o No excuses for me, another solid performance, 85 at Kibworth followed by an 83 at Newbold, both pretty tough layouts, you really had to grind out a good score. MC
Cat, You would have had kittens if you saw the size of the strawbales where we were shooting today. It was a mountain of them 25 foot high and a hundred foot long. It wasn't a score it yourself shoot, the others in the squad were scoring or looking in the other direction How much did you win after your "Solid" performances? **** all I'll bet
Mungler
The other question is where on the podium did the "solid performance" place you Cat and how many people took part? If you did get a podium for an low 80's score I would assume that the majority were put off by the weather
Catamong
The other question is where on the podium did the "solid performance" place you Cat and how many people took part? If you did get a podium for an low 80's score I would assume that the majority were put off by the weather I'd have to admit that I didn't win either shoot, all I know is that there was a 91 in at Kibbo when I left, but Chris Bloomfield and Carl Bloxham had both done 84's, Dave Hughes, (he who won the Essex Masters) did a 90, so, believe me, it was no skeet shoot..!! Entries wise, I would imagine both shoots had about 150 entries, don't forget this ain't straw bale land, you only get one go at it, you can't keep buying re-entry cards until you get a good score, it's got to be right first time. :o Cat. Although you won't do it as I heard you are changing your name to scaredycatamong.

Mungler
Blimey, and I got a ribbing when as a non member of the CPSA I entered the Essex Masters as unclassified It's almost worth joining the CPSA again to shoot 3 registered comps left handed or with a pump and to get slung into C class just in time for a registered competition with some decent prizes :o Pete, in real terms you got to be shooting very high B class or low A class?
