  1. I sounded is i put 'anything legle' i would get it back saying that!
  2. Had the American last week. Sent Friday and had back following Thursday. They seam to be getting things sorted out. Just wish they would sort the AOLQ. Can't have it all i guess
  3. Myford and accessories for £500. Bargain of the year. If i was not on other side of the country i would have taken it. Basic myfords go for £800
  4. Go to the manual of scope manufacturer and look up the eye relief for your scope. Set you camera lens to that distance. A 12mm gives you a round image on the viewer. 16mm gives an image with corners cropped. A 20mm gives a slight magnification. Some it works for others prefer the 16mm. The slight magnification lets you use less mag on your scope so more light gets to the camera
  5. Colinlad had one for a while. He enjoys making his own u it's now so i believe he moved it on. He would give honest review to you
  6. Lol, I'll proof anything me, as long as the piece of string is long enough. just has one back from proof last week. Little cz527 chambered in 222 just need to finsh it now
  7. If you do need/want is proofed then its £65
  8. Less than £3.25 omg. So I buy from you and sell to my dealer and make a profit without getting out of bed lol get in!
  9. Try venison prices. Game dealer pays £3.25kg. it's more they say they are doing a service taking them off your hands. Can't do anything about it as its the only place most stalkers can sell it. Either that or you end up with to much in the freezer. So that £3.25kg turns into £22kg in the shop. Was out my looking at it in tescos and shaking my head this morning
  10. Have one, don't answer it, answer machine kicks in, you leave a message and we phone you back or about at the answer machine and wife will answer it. It's part of the virgin package where we have mobiles, home phone, TV and internet. It don't cost anything so it's just a back up I guess
  11. Found them. Spoke to them and hopefully sorted. Very good dealings with them so can't complain.
  12. i bought something from a trader at the shooting show to go on a rifle that was being built. the smith just phoned to say its broken. problem i have is i can not remember for lover of money who it was. i can picture the front of the stall but for love of money i cant remember. can anyone help please. the store front had a area out on the front that was caged from where they sold ammo, this was on the front left of stall, price list was on the side left of this cubicle. the stall was against a wall, with fire exit on their left. all small items where in the glass counter or on back wall. i have even looked for a video walk around so i could try and spot the shop i didn't get a receipt so im hoping they will be honest over things. is was only an apex 7 rail for a cz527 and only £60 but money is money i guess. thanks for any help you can offer all the best Phil
  13. This advert hasn't been updated on here for some reason. Rifle only with the upgraded magazine is not £700. This is a massive saving, and the reloading data has all been done so no need to spend money working it out. All the rest has either gone or going on another rifle.
  14. Thanks Hendrix's rifles. It's a tack drive now,. Taken a bit of playing with powders and bullets but im quite happy plinking rabbits, crows, magpies out at 400 yards with no problems. also rolled a few foxes as well. Only selling as in having a custom .222 made
  15. if you are in the Gloucester area, (South west) then i would take them please Christian.
  16. I sort of agree with the mentor, some people need it and I personally think it should be law that some training is given but there we have it, we are all untitled to an opinion. It's up to the mentor to word the letter in such a way as to remove the blame. Saying he believes the person he has been mentoring, in his untrained opinion, is safe to proceed in his own manner. But hold no formal training him self to be held liable for any short comings on this made up mentoring condition imposed on by local authority You need to cover your self and put any blame back on to the police authority. You can't drive a car on road without some training and a test, I personally do believe some people really do need educating before they are allowed to walk a field, or wood, in pitch black of night and pull the trigger on a rather power rifle. But I do not believe in mentoring. It then we end up with people cashing in on the whole training thing and it become a licence to print money
  17. a very long time as youll keep adding bits, upgrading, changing. then you change the calibre so more dies and then load developing. I use to reload to try and save a few pence, gave up with that idea as you end up shooting more.
  18. I use viht and Swiss. both from HPS-tr never had a problem with supply in all the years i have been using. the plus side, apart from Matt is a good guy to chat with, is that his price is a little cheaper than anywhere else. up road so no travailing the 3 hour round trip i use to do. N135 in the .222 and the .223 with 40-45-50gn sbk, 40-53 V-max and 52amax. they all shoot silly little groups to a point you pray for wind to make it more interesting RS62 for the 65se and creedmoor with 130tmk, 140 smk, 140 eld-m again shoots better than i do

  20. The man speaks the truth Also a sweet long range varminting Calibre
  21. For vermin then 55gn varmageddon. Without doubt the most explosive round I have seen in the 243. It takes no prisoners. Best stalking round, and I have loaded a good few different ones over the years, it has to be, as Redgun says. 100gn Sierra prohunters. Being knocking over smaller muntjac with out to bad an exit shoulder and big fallow bucks with ease. Only thing wrong here is I'm thinking your after factory loads
  22. Quad sticks for upto 200 yards with problematic stalking. Bipod of varminting out to a grand Bags for range I did a thread a while ago on making quad sticks cheaply. In the diy area
  23. I have done it. Pulled the charger and battery out. Rewire the other end of tube, plug power in and all working. I did think about led but I have two boxes of t5 tubes. Thank for help gents.
  24. i had the feeling i would have to run a permanent live to it. it wouldn't be the end of the world but i have been hearing people have battery failers and the charge circuit have issues so it would be easier if i could just bypass that part all together and just run with wall switch its sat on bench still so photos can be added.
