    Best freesat

Cheers for the replies. I'd prefer to leave sky altogether(too many technical problems) but will probably go with humax if it's hd and you can record 2 channels at once. Can you attach netflicks to work through your TV?

    Best freesat

After too many years of paying through the nose i've decided to kick Sky into touch. I am probably looking at freesat, i've been told that the humax system is the best? Any advice or ideas would be appreciated
  4. Fished Ladybower last weekend on a club outing. We had a great day. Despite having all four seasons in one day the fishing was spot on. Loads of fish caught, loads of pulls, takes and lost fish. Most fish came to lures- Orange fritz, cats whiskers and woofters. The odd one to black buzzer and hares ear. It was my first visit to the venue and i was very impressed. It was always somewhere had we had been told to avoid but now it is under new management the place has improved immensly(the opinion of the locals), definately worth a visit. The only downside at this moment is that the fish are hugging the shortline and if you boat fish you have to cast towards the bank.

    Manuka Honey

Is that the stuff from New Zealand? If so, it apparently has all sorts of medicinal properties. My other half claims it acts as an anti-imflamatory and is good for reducing joint pain

    old people

My father in law had a hip replacement in December last year and was up walking the day after. Went home about a week after the op. The old guy is eighty and doing fine. His consultant even told him a story about a confused lady that had had a hip replacement done by himself last November. When the consultant came to do a ward round the day after the op the old dear could not be found. She was later found at home having walked the four mile distance in slippers. Just shows how resilient some people are. Good luck for today

    AVB's coming home

I loved the country when i was there a couple of years ago, but then again i was a tourist and did not have to work there. On the downside, i can still smell the stench from the Delhi slums to this day. It makes you appreciate what we have in Britain. ps will you have to dismiss your servants when you leave?
  8. Never fished there but our club is fishing it on 27th April, no reports as to how it's fishing yet. If i get some info i'll let you know
  9. We put one in last December and pay £60.00 for a builders bag of hardwood(oak, birch or ash) which has a moisture content of betweem 10-14%. The only problem we had was self inflicted. By not allowing the pressures to neutralise when opening the fire door we have gradually caused all the ceiling paintwork and curtains to be covered in soot. Not good when the room was only decorated at the same time as the fire was put in. But heyho, live and learn. That apart it's well worth it.
  10. Why should those of us who like a drink, don't cause mayhem and destruction be penalized even further
  11. I would have thought some of the members of pigeon watch prove that Darwins theory about evolution is a work in progress
  12. Have a good one mate. We go on our jollies this weekend. I wish i could swap destinations with you though. Just seen the weather forecast for next week, looks like we'll be freezing our preverbials off in Whitby

  17. Not sure about their breeding prowess but i know of a chap got into trouble with the police last year for 'mistakenly' shooting two as they passed his hide. Apparently the owner of the birds reported him to the police. I believe no action was taken after he compensated the owners.
  18. Thank God it wasn't just me. I can't comment on it's accuracy to the books but i can comment how unfunny the programme(s) is despite it's quality cast. More baffling for me was the number of media critics who positively orgasmic is praising the programme in the media Totally right about Mrs Browns boys. A totally unfunny take off, of Father Ted if you ask me. **** off !!!
  19. Something will turn up Daz, if the rumours are true i was led to believe everyone knew your inside leg measurement !!

    sky tv

I'm just about to ditch mine after almost 15 years. Too many repeats, most of the decent stuff you can get online or freeview for nowt anyway. I had no problems with BB services when i had it to be fair.

    Concert tickets

Yep, this type of thing happens all the time. Bought my youngest Script tickets for Christmas from a so called booking agent at over treble the ticket price and was expected to pay a booking fee and fee for the tickets to be emailed. RIP OFF
