Whilst congratulating Dyson for providing the UK with jobs, it might be worth noting that since 2003 they are made in Malaysia.

Prancer, Dancer?OMG - not Vixen?!!
-
I had the one in the photo with the rear cocking catch - took many Rabbits with it in my teens - newer ones are made in Mexico now and have a rubbish plastic breach.
-
Dyson rechargeable - just over 2 years old and every single part has been replaced under warranty with the exception of the metal tube - these things will not pick up Hair (wraps around the roller) building dust (clogs the filter in no time) or even those little goose grass seeds that stick to your Dog in the summer. Absolute rubbish - we used Henry's at work (school) and these are far superior.
-
We bought some dog treats from tesco - some kind of sausage - made them as sick as, well, a Dog, they were made in China, contained meat with a shelf life of about 6 months???
-
We had our last Springer cremated but I didn't want the Ashes (wont bore you with why) - we all wrote her a message and took the paper to her favourite place and burned it then stood and cried like babies as we watched the smoke rise. I go to the site as often as I can and talk to her and leave a flower - it helps but still very emotional. RIP George, sounds like you were loved and that's all most Dogs ever ask.

I have an Icotec GC101XL sitting here gathering dust - happy to loan it you if you want to see if they work.

Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of earth And danced the skies on laughter - silvered wings; Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth Of sun - split clouds - and done a hundred things you have not dreamed of. RIP Sir - if only our Nation had the grace to treasure you while she had the chance. -
Try Yoghurt - if he eats it then try breaking up the tablet in it - might work but dogs have a rather good sense of smell. Tablets that list side effects does not mean that your dog will get them, but they have to be listed. If he doesn't go for the yoghurt my next port of call would be beef consomme.

Pretty sure he tested them at FAC power in the clip - despite all the fairy dust that many reviewers have credited these pellets with(maybe sponsored) I very much doubt that they will out perform a decent round nose. The great debate on slugs is the latest thing - more pipe dreams and must have's for the gullible.

A lot of money and equipment to punch holes in paper but if that's the bag you're into, enjoy.
-
Start with the load you want to throw - say 1 ounce to make things simple. Empty a 1 oz cartridge and then cut an empty cartridge shell down until it just holds the 1oz load - you can then use the cut case as a measure for your powder - I would suggest FFG. It's called a "square" load and works well with BP. Hope that helps but someone with more brain cells than me will be along.

Christ on a bike - I couldn't hunt with that contraption on my Cat - it would get caught in my tights on the mount and snag my bra strap on the way down - not for me I'm afraid.

How many Grey Squirrels are killed in 2019

Text yesterday saying 5 of the 7 feeders are empty after a week, the other 2 that I cover most frequently are 60-70% empty and 2 Squizzers were feeding as the guys approached to top up. Weather looks good for tomorrow. As a side note the Wildcat was charged at the start of Squizzer shooting and has, to date, accounted for 12 plus a couple of zeroing sessions - only used 30 bar in around 30 shots - chuffed. -
Difficult to get proof in the uk but seem to recall I read it in a book by Keith Simpson ( UK Pathologist) but in the states it's deffo 10 times more expensive to kill than to imprison.
-
Execution is far more expensive than life in prison - the legal bill is astronomical. Personally I would like to see him hung, drawn and quartered.

Load 2 pellets!! Never, in 14 years of ownership, have I managed that. As for longevity - the S410 carbine I currently have was made in 2005 and had it's first service this year - it didn't actually need it but with Squizzer season fast approaching I thought she deserved it . It did break the spring on the indexing post but repair was £13 from memory and takes minutes to fit - bought a spare just in case but I reckon it will still be there in 10 years time. Buy a decent used one (the carbine is every bit as accurate as the standard) and replace all the O rings around the bolt (including the one between the bolt head and the rear of the cylinder) then chrono it before taking it out - both of mine crept considerably over after a few years use. If you know that you have not pulled the bolt back far enough then why not just pull it back again and remove the Mag?

Their Tomato soup, i'm sorry, but is the worst culprit - tastes like watered down ketchup with a hint of vinegar. Try the newish Polish Ketchup that some supermarkets are stocking or even Aldi or Lidl's own.
-
My Cat came with a Belittle - but the Cat only emits a mouse burp as standard, the Belittle just puts a hand over it's mouth. About as much point as putting a Mod on a .17 HMR - £100 down and a shattered eardrum later you begin to wonder why you bothered.
-
Not Heinz anymore - never again, I have wasted my money on their garbage for the last time - as a kid I remember the brand being "the best" and can well remember the flavours of things like Tomato and their Chicken soup, but someone, somewhere has decided to fill their cans with Dishwater with a flavour that the label only hints at - their beans are also no longer any better than Asda own brand (just 3 times the price) so what has gone wrong? Does anybody make soup that actually tastes of anything? One that, if you were blindfolded, you would recognise the flavour?

Interesting review on 101 - Hades shows NO expansion over a normal pellet at 12ftlb nor at "full" power - in fact the retrieved pellet has deformed slightly INWARDS.
-
Some nice Hammer Guns on guntrader including a v.nice Midland "the demon" for £750 - damascus 2 3/4. Look after it and you should get your money back if you ever decided to sell it.

We live about 30 miles from the original release site of Red Kite and I can practically guarantee if I step outside there will be several within view. There has been no drop in songbird numbers that I have noticed and when I tried feeding the kites day old chicks, they never touched them - Scotch Eggs, however, are gone in minutes! Reading about the bird it seems that they are simply too cumbersome to catch small birds unless the bird is injured or sick. Personally I wouldn't believe a word the RSPB say - ask her to justify her comment officially.Any drop in songbird numbers is down to cats and Farmers cutting hedgerows late in the year when berries are on the branches - these are what the birds eat over winter.

Could have been far worse - they could have used My Herpes.

As far as I can make out the second RFD would have signed for the gun when he collected it from the shop - it is now his responsibility to ensure the legal transfer to the actual owner.
