Not the way I see it - the classic double is usually fired right barrel first - thus the front trigger rifes the right barrel - the second barre is fired by the rear trigger which is set back and left of the front trigger to prevent you finger catching it on the first shot - to look at the classic layout you would think it has been designed for a LH but the triggers are placed as they are as a matter of safety - think this is where Wb123 is getting confused?
-
Why is the trigger layout indicative of the gun being LH?

If you get the opportunity - take it, the team that I had were nothing short of brilliant, not going because of any preconceived thoughts of embarrassment or pain are unfounded - could save your life.

You could try Youmove joint supplement - works but usually takes a couple of weeks before you see any benefit.

At 55 you get the camera up the wookey hole treatment - that's 1.2 meters of probe, 2 student nurses, a camera operator and someone to distract you - it's actually not as bad as you might think but the following 2 weeks feels like you've been wheelieing a Unicycle.

Mr Hadoke has written several very good books - very knowledgeable and happy to chat about Guns on the phone - very pleasant chap.

We put £50/month into a seperate account for our Dogs and discussed the fact that we have no insurance with our Vet. I'm fairly certain that we get a special rate because the Vet knows he isn't being paid by a large company and he has done several exploratory examinations/Scans and we have had consultations with him several times and he simply hasn't charged us at all - might be an option depending on how well you know your Vet?

Corned Beef, Beetroot and Salad Cream - fit for a King. CB wise - Aldi.

Golf Trolley would be no good i'm afraid ,Mice, have to negotiate a deep ditch followed by thick undergrowth to get to the Hopper - they cleared a path, of sorts, for me last year but no such luck this year. I, er, took a few extra Steroids in the morning - result on the mobility front.

Well it's Tally Ho for me since getting the "call to arms" yesterday - quick call to the plod (9 minutes wait time!!!) late this morning and off to the Spinney, where I'm reliably informed a large grey tree Rat has been present everytime the Estate Manager has checked the Hopper this week. True to form he was sitting there enjoying an Autumn feast as I arrived but promptly disappeared into the undergrowth as I set up 20 odd yards from said Hopper (the Squirrel - not the EM) and a boring 20 minute wait ensued till he just, as if by magic, appeared feeding again. Well it's the first Nutty on this perm for my Cat (she's previously had 2 in my Garden) but this is the very reason I bought her so pressure's on for her - crosshairs straight down the forehead (forgetting my promise to chest shoot them at every opportunity), a touch of the trigger and the sound of a Mouse passing wind saw Nutty heading earthwards with little respect for the birds pecking away beneath him or any attempt at Acrobatics despite 2 pigeons clapping loudly as they left the scene. Will be getting updates on 6 Hoppers Tomorrow so fingers crossed for the weekend - exciting times and feeling more confident now the FX has managed her first official foray with nothing falling off/bending or needing a service .

Same here - it's been their policy for at least the last 3 years. Sometimes they tell you it doesn't include internet prices but their T&C's state otherwise - just print out the internet price and show them.

Seem to recall that the bottom pin has no "return" spring behind it so the cartridge base drags against it slightly as the gun is opened - maybe this causes a bit of damage over time?
-
All the BSA guns I seem to see are well boring - get another H Gun - plenty out there at good money and so nice to shoot. AYA did one that appears well received (if you can find one) if not then an english, provincially built, gun should do you proud. You know you want a gun with ears!!

While the pup is young and insecure take him to an open space and stand still for a couple of minutes - then walk away, don't make any attempt to call or communicate with the pup - as you walk away the pup should follow you - if he does then he has accepted you as Alpha and will follow you without question.

Arron - re your previous comment - " Butt Claws, Rear Mono Pods, Cheek Raisers and Bigger Plenums" - are you reading the Anne Summers Christmas leaflet?

Download and use Adblock free edition - simples.

Take it back to the dealer and wear a really angry face.

Surely you need to stop him chewing his bed in the first place? Not a criticism but seems a bit like putting the cart before the horse?
-
Accuracy and trigger are spot on Figgy but they are on the AA S410 - might be 25 years of precision engineering that makes me a tad critical when I see cost cutting on a gun costing so much but it shouldn't even be possible for a trigger component to just "fall out" whenever it fancies it - the MK2 are built the same and the impact trigger unit looks remarkably similar.
-
Now that's the best way to shoot such a creature.

Hand on heart - don't be bamboozled into thinking that FX are the Rolls Royce of the Airgun world - once you get over £750 ish most Rifles performance are similar - the build quality on my Wildcat is not, in my opinion, up to that of my S410 - engineering wise at least, the use of push fit pins that can fall out whenever they like is unacceptable on guns at this price - 3 months of FX ownership = trigger failure, indexing issues and Reg jam + £100 service/tinker - AA S410 10 years of ownership = indexing post replacement (messed up by previous owner) £13 not one other issue, failure or hiccup. If you buy an FX make sure your dealer has an impeccable reputation for warranty work and is nearby - not trying to put you off but a little caution might save you considerable hassle.

Pet's at home "back to naturals" wet food gets a good rating for the money and is the only food my daughters dog can eat without being ill - Forthglade Puppy is also pretty good for the price but can be hard to source.

Spider fighting eh? On the Web?

Not sure if this is allowed on this forum, if not then apologies to the Mods, but does anyone have any comments about the behaviour of Peter Carr in the above youtube channels "Burton Agnes" shoot - mainly at 3:13 where he surely tries to scare a low bird to climb before shooting the hapless creature - if it was (and it obviously is) a low bird then how much height could it have possibly gained in the second it took to shoulder the gun? Not long since the Airgunning part of the show saw us watching a Collard Dove being shot whilst still being a protected species following the GL fiasco - this latest offering is damaging to shooting as a whole and , when the whole world seems to be watching us and our sport is irresponsible and unsporting to say the least.
