Put the thing down, they are very head strong and whilst it may behave around anyone it considers dominant, it will not hesitate to do the same again to anything "beneath" it.

Baikal TOZ 63 16 bore hammer gun
bruno22rf replied to roughshooter's topic in Guns for Sale (Private Sales)
I had an exhibition grade gun the same, polished action, skip cut chequered Walnut stock etc, contacted the factory around 5 years ago and they told me it's history in that it was one of 60 that were built as promo guns by their most skilled makers. -

Interesting, do you have any links to an Advert? these come from a completely different manufacturer, may have been imported by the same company which led to the confusion. -

Fairly sure that's a TULA and not a Baikal. -
How long have you got?

Get a P15, brilliant little puffguns, 100+ multi shot and weighs less than my wife's handbag, as accurate as any gun I have ever owned and under £400 new.

I had an X Type sat on my drive for 5 years, less than 50k on the clock, British Racing Green 3ltr v6 in immaculate condition, when I bought it, it had just undergone a £3k restoration with any marked or rusty fitting replaced- I swear you could lick the underneath and not get dirt on your tongue. The rear brakes would, however, stick and overheat and while it was being repaired (took 4 months) I had to buy another car for daily use. After several hundred pounds spent on calliper rebuilds then replacement the fault was eventually diagnosed by a Jag expert as being caused by braided hoses causing back pressure on the anti lock system, replaced the hoses with standard and car was spot on. Unfortunately the other half refused to go in it as she had lost faith so it sat for years till I put it up for sale earlier this year, could not get £500 for it so it went to a salvage yard who then auctioned it off, someone got a bargain, it still had the original handbook, service record and bill of sale, even the original supplier key ring.

It's very hard to fault her on any aspect of her career, destined to become one of the greatest singers ever surely?

What kind of groups and range are you guys getting with air rifles
bruno22rf replied to NoBodyImportant's topic in Airgunners
Dump the pellets and try jsb exacts, Air Arms field etc. -
Brilliant, Collin Willock's Gun Punt Adventure must be a must read for those "into" this, brilliantly written and timeless.

Neat washing up liquid rubbed on in a circular motion then lightly buffed off till the glass is clear.

Been waiting for quotes to come back for nigh on 50 years.

Had 4 fitted around 3 months ago, got them at £40/corner fitted and balanced. Initially they were fairly good as the manufacturing oils wore away then they became superb after about a month, lasted until recently when they tend to white line in the dry and feel vague in the wet, they have not actually lost grip yet but just don't feel planted, could be my Poxy little Fabia just doesn't get them warm enough? Conclusion, if you can get them cheap fair enough, but I don't think Avon make tyres as good as they used to.

Worried now, swollen arm? Now that's going to ruin my sex life 🤔.

It cannot be any good cos it's cheap Chinese rubbish, made of monkey metal blah, blah, blah. 90% of people knock SMK and 90% of those have never laid there hands on one, these guns are built to fill a need and they do so admirably, climb up the SMK ladder a little and things get even better with their budget PCP Rifles and Pistols particularly the Snowpeak/Artemis offerings. As said, it should be all about fun/enjoyment and you don't need a regulated, laminated, computer controlled multi option £2000+ puffgun to have a laugh with your mates.

Last time I used them for a breakdown was 3 years ago, spoke to the same gentleman 4 times while waiting for the truck to arrive, initially to report my situation then he rang every 10 minutes to check that I was OK and was actually on the phone as the breakdown truck arrived, may have been a one off but I was so impressed by the service I never shop around anymore. To be certain just give them a ring and ask.

I've been with StartRescue for about 10 years, cannot fault the service or price (£47/annum).

It's not the weight Neil23, it's the stock dimensions, a couple of rounds of clays is very wise but see if he can borrow a Browning/Miroku as well to see which he finds most consistent to mount. I had a Silver Pigeon and just could not get a consistent mount/sight picture, our Coach assured us that they suit some but not others and ,no matter what you try, you will struggle to shoot to your full potential. Nothing against Beretta at all.
-
Make sure he tries one before spending money, some people (me included) just cannot find a consistent mount, not a problem with the gun as such, they are just different to other makes, Browning etc, and don't suit everybody.
