  1. BP licences are free, only real outlay is a suitable box. You could then load your own, a square load is simple and effective and you wont need any equipment.
  2. Wrong colour for Tikka Masala, could it be Ratatouille?
  3. I am a firm believer that you should not own a Dog that you could not kill if it turned on you.
  4. Pointless without knowing the cause, if it's just an age thing then Glucosamine and Cod Liver Oil is as good as you will get without prescription ( get dog specific ones from someone like "Nature's Best" for the correct dosage) but it will take weeks before any improvement. I would get the dog checked by a Vet, it may need steroids to calm the joint, drugs such as Prednisolone are cheap and very effective. Yumove is, IMHO, a waste of money, the ingredients (green lipped mussel powder)can be bought for a fraction of the price.
  5. £275 collected, it's virtually mint.

  6. The vulnerable will be getting a fourth which is to be a full vaccination and not just a booster.
  7. Duracell have a plant in Dong Guan, China. Most laptops are made in the East and I would imagine most battery packs are as well.
  8. I would imagine that the Duracell one is made in China and you are paying for the name.
  9. Price is now £750, no offers. Please don't contact me if A/ you live in Cumbria and don't drive. B/ agree to buy it then haggle over the price C/ Don't have the money or finally D/ don't like the way the breach looks on the 510 🤬. Update E/ Don't think that it is a genuine S510USR.(it is)
  10. Well now there's a shocker, thought free speech was still alive and kicking? Clearly not, I find a great many things distasteful, would you like the full list and my own justification for my feelings, if the OP wants to shoot Jays crack on, but I still find it distasteful. I very much doubt that I would shoot one even if needed, I find them intriguing and mysterious having spent many years as a youth trying to see one. I would have far less pleasure killing one that watching it, my choice.
  11. Under the umbrella of Field sport's enthusiast or countryman I reserve the right to shoot that which I consider vermin (within the Law). I have seen more Jays these last 10 years than in the previous 50 so I am aware their numbers are growing, but I still have no desire to kill them as our Woods are full of Songbirds, more so after 3 years of Squirrel control, if I considered the Jays to be causing serious damage to the local endangered birds that inhabit our woodland I may consider my options again, but for now I am more than happy to sit in the hide and watch them.
  12. You have hoards of Jays? C'mon, Crows, Magpies etc yes, but not Jays. I consider it a treat to see one, their numbers do not really justify killing them, in my opinion, like I said each to his own, but it's not for me.
  13. Most problems I've seen are user based, as for Reg issues AA tell me that they have replaced 2 under warranty since the regged version was released, some have leaked from new but AA give a 3 year warranty. I have one up for sale so I could be accused of being biased, I would happily rate it in the top 5 Air Rifles ever made. Oh, BTW, they are heavy which is why, if you have heart failure and Arthritis, you would sell a gun that you love.
  14. I'm with Jonty, amazing stuff.
  15. Demonwolf444 on this forum is a genius with wood.
  16. I find the shooting of Jays distasteful, each to his own but that's not for me.
  17. Winslow, 3 miles from Buckingham, apologies for any confusion.
  18. .177 cal. 2x10 shot mags, carbine model, don't think there's a mark on it, bought it having fired less than 60 shots and I reckon I've put at the most 300 through her, stupidly accurate Regulated version with side lever that clicks like a swiss watch. £800 prefer collection from just outside MK. Scope not included.
  19. Thinking of letting mine go as I simply don't get out as much now due to health issues but I'm in Bucks and most likely a million miles away from you.
  20. Made by TULA I believe, built to withstand a nuclear war.
  21. Had my KOFS 28G for 20 months and cannot really fault it, mine has 30" barrels M/C as it's all I could find at the time and I find the gun quite front heavy compared to the light weight of the gun but you get used to it. Recoil is practically non existent with any load but avoid buying blind, some stocks seem to be made of several pieces glued together and have the odd area as rough as a Badgers backside whilst other guns have superb woodwork, some also have a different drop at the comb so shoulder the wee beasty before parting with any money. Not had a single mechanical issue, gun is still tight even though second hand and I do not know it's previous history. Have a good look for any wear/play in the breach area as a sloppy joint can be hidden simply by tightening a small screw on the for-end iron hook.

Bought a metal chess set a couple of weeks ago for £5 as one piece was broken, £20 later a replacement arrived from Greece and now the set is complete, Marble board and all metal Roman figures worth well over £100. Bought 4 shooting books yesterday for £3, Facebook has it's advantages.
  23. You can roast them in the oven and they will pop, then add Gin and wait, add a LITTLE Almond essence when finished for an irresistible tipple.
  24. You have clearly not encountered a PP700, PCP, 100+ shot bang on the legal limit, recoilless (obviously) and more than accurate enough to take small game at reasonable distances.
