  1. 3" of 7.5 shot. Be nice if the OP said why he wanted this and what weight of shot. Only carts I know of were 36g sporting loads from years ago.

    yildiz 410

Sell it and buy a gun in a colour your happy with. Older Yildiz guns did have a black action. I think anything you do to it will ruin it. Buy a colour case hardened gun if you like them darker..

    First light.

Couldn't possibly be as nice as his old home. It's in a different location that's not the Cotswolds.
  4. As above or a clean wood saw as I once used. I once bought a full wrapped block of pastrami from a shop and my wife immediately froze it. So when I wanted some I had to use a saw to cut a chunk off to put in fridge for later use. You get a bit of waste but if you put a container under ready made mince.
  5. How does box section stack up against the tube originally used for bending and buckling under load. As tube takes the stress equally in any direction?
  6. Try it George on a small batch. To be honest lead shot on its own will polish by rubbing together. If this alli powder burns like some say I'd be carful of using it on shot as the residue may ignite on firing the cartridge causing the shot to fuse.

    Plumbers!

Dig out the old sealant and grout get a grout remover, clean up and regrout with good showerproof grout reseal the tray after cleaning with solvent where you seal and with good sealant and see if it fixes it. From what I've seen on your photos the wall and water marks are not to bad, it can't have been leaking for to long. If after you regrout and seal it still leaks which if done right I doubt it will then it's only cost a few quid and your time. Most leaks are from the seal between tray and wall. I'm just doing my showers in my house and have used CT1 sealant expensive but good.
  8. Nice ground Pinewood, shot there with Goo1 off here. Some good targets and good layout.
  9. Must be on the old nightclub site, thanks for the info.
  10. Very funny, bet a few got hurt in the panic.
  11. I live in Stockton I shoot clays, game, wildfowl ,vermin. Plenty of shooters from the north east read this forum, the odd one just can't take part anymore. What's the Tall Trees Gun Club, Game Syndicate or Clay Club?
  12. What do you use on your own stocks then

    Roof Moss

That's the stuff wet and forget, works great.
  14. I'd like to know why a 25g load in a feather weight 28bore has next to no recoil and 28g load in a heavey 12bore can kick like a mule. Must be the powder burn rate.
  15. George I've seen the big bags of shot in your factory, why polish it it's shiny anyway.
  16. Best Buy the cheapest then if your only going to make some noise get some practice in at a clay ground with a high tower or driven targets on, with the cartridges and gun your going to use.
  17. As above a multi purpose clay and game cart 1450 fps at 2.5m would be great. His websites have said under construction or some such since the first one appeared which had a video of a loading machine and no info on the carts for sale.
  18. Johnnytheboy I have quite often picked up fired wads where only the petals on one side have opened up. That has to throw the shot off as the wad will twist and turn as it opens. Poor wads poor patterns, got to be true. Some of the best patterns I've seen are with Georges clay carts, I've not got many left now but the softest shooting cart in 28gram I've used. You need to start making some Propper Sporting or Little Devils again
  19. With Dennisis help and advice the finish I have achieved with it is fantastic, stock looks like it's coated in glass it light up the wood and shows the wood grain and figuring off a treat but a nice shine like a well polished car. Nothing like the spray finished stocks. But then I did put well over thirty coats of oil on it, I stopped counting them after a month. The trade secrets kit is quicker and better than I though it was going to be, good results for bettering an existing stock finish.
  20. That gun would have sold more than a few times, my eyes lit up at the thought of buying it.
  21. I use my mapping on my iPhone more than the one built into the car.

    Roof Moss

I got a gallon of blue stuff from Costco for moss and used it diluted on my Cabrio roof as there were a couple of little spots of green along the seam above rear window with the damp Spring early summer. Worked great, used it everywhere round my property I saw any hint of green and it's never returned. When I go in the garage next I'll have a look at what name it is.
  23. You have to have a certain amount of supply air for the clean glass function to work. When our room gets too hot we just open the doors and let the heat drift through the house.
  24. HG stove glass cleaner is the best product I've used. Just spray on and wipe with a kitchen towel and the black just comes off. No real scrubbing needed if it's thick just spay again leave a few minutes and wipe off. Job jobbed
  25. Golf balls have dimples to make them fly better, surely the same applies to shot. I've seen fallen shot on cars at Simo game days and when looked at had dimples like a golf ball off being fired. Softer shot for game must be better. Polished shot may have a touch less resistance but it's it drag that slows down shot.
