  1. Good question But i am afraid its lost in the background of bitchy comments for whatever reason. No need, i can only assume the ones that have been removed were little more than childish playground comments.
  2. Great for fishing on the move.
  3. I am afraid to say, i would question the actions of a copper smacking or correcting a child/teenager Only from the amount of misstrust I have now in the force. Yes in the olden days I would of had a differnt view.
  4. All my air rifles, HW80 HW77 HW35E Rapid 7 Saxby and palmer galaxy (now section 5) All but the R7 were sold because of a woman, she said i was spending too much time out shooting, so i got rid of them for 2pence, shortly after she went anyway. A very good, ill be expensive lesson learnt. Never again, they take me as they find me,guns and warts. (i have a good one now though )
  5. Come on we all know you needed a wee
  6. Supervisor for a train maintenace company, only work nights, trying to escape and go back to living a normal life. Just grabbed a bite to eat and a coffee one shift left to do... then see what pigeons are about sunday
  7. I am sure there is a site somewere were you can estimate how much weight loss you get by having it fluted, Try "lija" or simalar. You can then have a rough idea if its actually worth having it done. TTFN
  8. As above, awaiting my second rifle having rebarrel, no real benefit as I was told by "Steve Kershaw" in fact I was told it may even have a negative effect on accuracy if not done well. And the addedcost.
  9. I, thats me, if your wondering who me is on about, or is it "i am on about" never mind. Anyway i get annoyed when people abbreviate this and that into the 1st letter only and expect other people to understand what they mean, it happens in the work place all too often, onlylast week we go into a meeting and come out wondering what on earth is "MM"--- "AMI" and god knows what else they came out with, they think its clever, but in my opinion it would be smarter as senior management to actually learn how to pronounce words if they are having difficulty before such meetings, or provide a pocket guide for simpletons like me (or is it I ) So what i am saying is, a shotty / shottie is nearly there :good: but a SG could mean umptien things ^_^
  10. If all you have to do is moan about people calling shotguns "shotties" "shotty" then i am pleased for you, your life must be pretty near perfect, well done on achieving what you have done in your life But allas you will never reach your goal, there is nothing in this world that IS perfect, And just think if it was you would have nowt to do with your life, so think yourself lucky we are not all "nearly perfect" Have a nice day, dougy
  11. I am sure there is a simple answer to the question. Just ask "BASC" easy
  12. I have a pair, they have an over glove for added warmth, they are a pain to use whilst shooting though, if rifle shooting its difficult to action the bolt, reload the mag and have decent trigger control even if you have a pinky out of the glove. as for shot gun well all prety much the same. But they are warm though I tend to use peacock hand warmers in my coat pockets warmer and bury my hands in there
  13. There are courses available on basic reloading And yes i know how much they are, and i also know how much the material things are like a rifle, possible scope and then we look at the cost of the none replaceable items, like if your lucky, fingers, hands, your sight, all of which could be damaged beyond repair for a simple mistake whilst --practising reloading, without first someone experienced showing you the do's and donts. So the actual cost of the course in comparison is not that expensive really is it. Its a shame nobody is at hand to help local though. Maybe it may be worth Jamie traveling a little distance for some one on one tuition.
  14. Are we all into checking powder scales with old tatty coins now I must get with the trend I was using the varified weights that came with them, and double checking with a 55 grn bullet saved and kept seperate from all others.

Mungler heaven, i was going to return a couple of weeks ago, but allas coulnt get the time off work, DAM IT :(
  19. Me too, you can ask any question re shooting and they will offer helpfull advice, a bit like "pigeon watch" really. LOL. Oh ! And the prices are very good too.
  20. It wouldnt do any harm in doing so. I did when I added a second one, but didnt tell them until they paid me a visit for my renewal. They didnt give me a trelling off.
  21. Looks good. Looks like that tree could do with some tlc,is it dead Be cosy in the cold weather.
  22. Bloomin ek Simon !!! Only shot 1 last week. I think you should invest in more traps if you need to get the fox numbers down. Lol
  23. Mung, does it really matter if you throw in the sick card the guy may of had 100% attendance record for god knows how long. Then as per usuall these days the loyalty card from the employer gets thrown out of the window because it decides it can save some money, yet still pay the management stupid wage rises each year. I am afraid in this day and age its look after # 1 and sage and onion to the rest. Any new empoyer will see through the C$%& if the guy has someting to offer them, they will take him on. How many comanies now beg for people to stay due to there input to a company, will the company keep on trading manufacturing whatever of course they will, i say stick it up em.. We all work for ourselves to earn money to live, what we dont do is live to work.
