  1. Both those pumps will also throw empties about if you go for a fast second shot! The most useful for a find your empty competition is the Browning BPS which ejects downwards. I have a post near the end of the "pump club" thread which will put yu in touch with Davey and Co who will help. I have no connection with them except as a satisfied customer. David.
  2. I agree at one level so why don't you pass it on to beginners/anybody who might be even slightly interested. We need to win people over. David.
  3. Davey and Co http://www.gunstar.co.uk/view-trader/davey-son/1274/Shotguns-for-sale#ads have the holy grail of pumps the BPS in stock. Go on lads and lasses you know you want/need one. David.
  4. 1 minute is 1" at 100ydx, Imrad is 1cm at 100metres, but most minute scopes do 4 clicks to the minute which is quite a bit smaller step than i mrad. Probably need to start looking at exact models to do a comparison. David.
  5. I have a feeling I am beating all those days! Shame innit!!!!! Actually the UK does have a resident population so you can see them all year if you know where to look. David.
  6. Aldi has some Garmins in, lifetime map updates. David.
  7. The problem might be EE delaying release. As I understand it they have to release the number to Vodaphone, David.
  8. Surprising that nobody makes a fully plastic case. No brass coated STEEL to rust. David.
  9. Phone the BASC and ask. You have to be a member for more than a year to benefit. Also if you have placed your order you might be a bit late. David.
  10. Lintran would probably do the outfit you want. David.
  11. Actually I think that part of the problem is the "national" newspapers rabbit on and on about England. This makes people annoyed. Also I do think that England should get their own National Anthem. I think it gets up other peoples noses that they use the British National Anthem. It isn't the English National Anthem! I can say all this as someone who had two teams win yesterday.. David.
  12. Beccaccia means woodcock, which explains the short light gun. Might be a bit light with a big fowling load? David.
  13. Seen it a few times. Still smile though. David.
  14. Might be an idea to give some idea of the minimum number required. David.
  15. 16" may be OK with a pixel chain. I have to agree though buy Husqvarna (my choice) or Stihl. Solid kit that spares and repairs are available for all over the country. David
  16. Looking forward to seeing you again Marco. David.
  17. Try this. http://www.ukho.gov.uk/EasyTide/EasyTide/index.aspx David.
  18. I have the petrol grand vit. The engine I can't comment on but the rest works really well. Very capable little truck. David.
  19. Got to agree. Try and support your local dealer. You will need them for spare chains, and service. Like not supporting a local RFD, what are you going to do when they close? David.
  20. You could trunk the pipes so they don't show. Win win. David.
  21. Sounds as if things are really going well John. Well done. You deserve the success. David.
  22. I agree. Just that people don't always carry or can't get the right kit easily. David.
  23. Perhaps one of the reasons for the rise in popularity of the machete type is because they are easier to sharpen. Straight/convex curve as opposed to a concave edge. Just a thought. David.
  24. Of course the David McKay Brown is a genuine "round action" as opposed to being a rounded action. Just stirring a bit I guess. David.
