My shooting partner for the last 10 years or more . He enjoyed his pigeon shooting, being outdoors chatting to farmers only willing to help them . Being the perfectionist in the art of decoying hoping for the elusive TON, which he attained last year on rape stubble, much to his delight and mine. As a keen administrator to his loving PIGEON WATCH he became friends to many whom he met on occations at GAME FAIR EVENTS. We will all miss him. Teal Posted October 14, 2005 Report Share Posted October 14, 2005 I am devastated to hear this, it has come as such a shock to us all, every single comment on the entire three pages, has for me summed up in his time on the site how his general good attitude sprinkled with sense of humour, was so well liked. He will be sorely missed, and I still can't quite believe it. He put many hours of effort and time into the site from helping beginners to bantering with the old, and moving posts. As part of the sponsorship deal, he was due to be going out and trying to shoot some woodpigeons with NTFF with Will Beasley in a few weeks in recognition of his great performance, and I know he was looking forward to this greatly. I found out when I called to his house, expecting to see him when his wife told me. He was my shooting buddy for the past 10 years or so, enjoying his shooting so much. Specialising in pigeon and the black vermin.
