I haven't met anyone famous except.for David Healy international N.I football player from my town, and my dad once once got slashed with geogre best in a pub in Belfast

Hate to break it to ya Strangford, but Im not sure getting plastered with George Best really counts as a claim to fame... Well not a very unique one anyway!

I was at secondary school in the 60's with footballing brothers Tony & Paul Currie, runner David Bedford and Free rock group member Paul Kossoff. Our music teacher was another David Bedford who had some fame with Mike Oldfield. Frankie Vaughan lived a couple of doors away so there was always a 'face' or two around.

In the 70's I worked in Hampstead and used to have a drink at lunchtime with actors John Hurt, Robert Powell and his wife Babs Lord who was a dancer in Pans People.

I have met some famous names but it s daft as i met George Digweed once and was totally startstruck. The strangest one was a tall guy followed me through customs in heathrow once wearing big glasses and when he had to remove them for security, i nearly **** myself when it turned out to be Sean Connery. He really seemed larger than life.

Sean Connery is a total gent...

I used to look after a jeweller and Sean Connery used to buy Rolex watches from him, he was always polite and always made time for you...it was like meeting your hero!!!.

We were at LeMan when Tiff Nedell was driving the lister storm . We had a banner made up to say our club was supporting Tiffany Dell . We were posing with it in front of the Lister pits having our photo taken when he came out and read it . He walked off laughing and called us a bunch of ********
