pete1dart
Wish I did! How I wish we would get some in Hampshire! I havnt heard of many from my mate in Scotland yet on the Solway. Last I heard there were only 500. In one day and gone the next! Probably getting a good feed from Morcombe now.
TJ91
My far is up near aberdeenshire, he said he has seen a few large skeins flying south. Anyone around montrose basin? There is usually a good few there this time of year I think.

Gutty Boots
Would estimate around 3-4000 currently, between Cromarty Firth, Beauly Firth & Moray Firth, no big numbers of Greylags yet, but they're often later. First one bagged on the 12th, good condition too.
miapia221
There is a lot round Barton upon Humber, North Lincs on the stubble fields, they roost on reed's island on the river humber near South Ferriby

anser2
They have been trickling in to Norfolk for the past 2 weeks building up to a couple of thousand. 2800 new birds comming in off the sea and flying east past Titchwell yesterday. I expect a lot of pinks will come in on the back end of the next moon. Numbers have been well down with only 45,000 on my marsh for the past couple of seasons , less than half of what we expect at the winter peak.
