Townie
Having heard someone say that they loved their job set me thinking. Does anyone really love their job? If they do, what does that say about their private lives? I quite like what I do, but work's work and I can't imagine loving what I do for a living. What do others think? Asa Bear
I love my job when I'm on the "coal face" so to speak but I hate parts of my job with the constant bull **** middle management keep coming up with in the name of modernisation. TJ91
I can see why some may love their job. If my job was what I enjoy doing..boxing, motorbike racing, shooting...I would love it. I like what i do now, not the best job. But I love to work, can't stand being unemployed, I may not love the job but i love to work.

fenboy
My job is just something to give me the things in life I do love . I used to like my job better than I do now , now days to get on they seem to prefer people who can talk lots of bull rather than who can actually deliver results . I would really like something different but like many these days have become trapped by the money with no real chance at my age getting another job that pays the same wages . The only thing that is good about it is the four days out of eight I have off.
stokie
I work to live not live to work I enjoy my job as a fabricator welder because I get to make lots of different things . But it is a means to an end .

flynny
It's a means to an ends and thats it, If I could do what I wanted when I wanted and pay for to do it, I think 99.9% of people could find better things to do in there lifetime than work, ATB Flynn

figgy
Hate my job but it pays ok most of the time. Most of the jobs I would like to do the pay is very poor. Figgy

scolopax
Don't love it, don't hate it. Means to an end, hate going as it means I will be away from home for two weeks but once here it is generally okay, can be very boring, probably done 2 hours worth of work in nine days! Get a serious amount of time off though

silver pigeon 3
Works ok and most of the time the days are enjoyable, being your own boss does have a few perks but with it brings the 10pm finishes when everbody else has left after doing there 7.30am - 4.30pm. You are left there wondering if it is all worth it and would you just be better off working for someone else on a salary??
jackinbox99
I think you are very lucky if you love your job. For most people a job is just a means to an end in order to pay the bills. For me, the things id love to do for a job wouldnt really pay enough money - such as turning a hobby into your job.
