Good whisky, but there's no such place as "the Orkneys". Or, for that matter "the Shetlands". It's "Orkney" and "Shetland". We don't talk about "the Jerseys", do we?

 

 

 

Well said, that man. No point in you lot claiming to be connoisseurs if you can't even spell the name of your "favourite tipple". It's WHISKY. No "e" in it.

Dalwhinnie is a nice drinking whisky, smooth and considerate. Lagavulin for those lonely serious sessions and the headache the following morning.

Taste - wise and for the best all rounder, I agree - Ardbeg - a truly wonderful whisky. Until I find another one better - still searching.
