My New Decoying Vehicle LOL

Well, after deciding I couldn't really justify having a 4wd truck costing a couple of grand a year as well as my van I wondered what other options there were.

I'm getting too old to be humping all my gear plus the shot pigeons across the countryside on foot so this is what I've come up with. It seems to be working great so far and I can actually take it where a 4wd can't go :)

This is it all loaded up with all the kit I need plus a bag of 24pigeons hanging off the handlebars and it just wheels into the back of my Berlingo van when I've finished using it B)

Very amusing. How will it cope in wet conditions and what happens when you shoot 150?

It'll go where you wouldn't risk taking a truck and if it rains it'll get me back to my van quicker than walking.

If I shoot 150 just think of all that lugging I wont have to do if I were on foot. 2 or 3 round trips will see them loaded.

It's actually shaping up very well at the minute. These old Honda 90's have made whole countries mobile.

its different I,ll give you that  would your berlingo not go over that piece of ground in the pic looks dry enough and flat enough in the wheel marks

The point is that the Berlingo might get on to some fields sometimes but as soon as that one wheel spins you're in a fix and looking a fool begging to be towed out. This will go anywhere a 4wd will go and if it does get bogged down you just push it out. It just takes all that weight off your back and makes you a bit more mobile.

Getting back to the van 400metres up a gradient today was easy instead of the usual yomp.
