Pinkella
Would the chillis be better if they were cut smaller? I'm sure they taste lovely and its nice to eat your own home grown produce of course.

sandspider
They're easy to dry - I just leave a handful of mine next to the stove and forget about them. (Or, to do it a bit better, stick a needle on some thread and run the thread through their stems, then hang them up somewhere handy - they might even go a bit redder as they dry). leaseone
Just Freeze them in a freezer bag, take 1 out leave in warm water for 2mins and it defrosted.
henry d
I don`t bother to defrost them, just slice frozen as the flesh is thin and it they can be cut quite fine if that is your wish.
GingerCat
Dry the hot ones, pop in a bottle of olive oil and then you have chillie oil whenever u need it, in my house that's often. Freeze them in icecubes for later in the year, keep very well. Eat them all in an outrageous curry? Chillie vodka? Can be interesting. Make a sauce and freze, personally I love Chillie it adds a bit of spark to meals, even salads, doesn't have to kill you when you eat it, just pep it up. Gre ghost chilies a while back, they were interesting but hard to get started with what I have to hand.

ack-ack
yup! I tried freezing pedrones and it didnt happen. Admittedly they're peppers but dimensionally and dry matter wise theres not much in it. I shall do a freezer trial if my plants ever decide to ripen. sky gipsy
I freeze them too and as Henry says, I just use them straight out of the freezer when cooking with them.
Rimfireboy
You can dry them or pickle them.
Mungler
Wrap them 5 at a go in cling film (tight) and into the freezer. I tried drying and blending into powder in a food processor (went mouldy big time) - must have been moisture in there You can try blending into ice cube trays, but it's messy and open to the elements of the freezer. The end
